Let's be real here. You pick up night gigs as a security guard for extra cash, which I respect, but it doesn't smack of real world obligations for you. Others here may have assets to protect.

I have had no experience with this moderator. I will, however, tell you that if you have a moderator who tells posters that they don't have the right to tell him he's doing a poor job because they're just 'you, the regular post' and he deletes over three hundred and eighty posts - that isn't a mistake. A mistake would be trying to give someone a warning for a legitimate issue and banning them on accident. A mistake is trying to edit a post and deleting it on accident. A mistake is trying to move a thread around and putting it in the wrong place or deleting it. You notice such mistakes.

If you send PMs to people which are clearly not welcomed, if you tell people they are just a 'regular poster', if you are in a position of power and you cannot make the choice to stop PMing visitors to the site - then that probably isn't the personality which can handle being a moderator. Especially if they're showing this much of their ass in their first few days as moderator.

Me either, and I agree that this is stupid, and could be ended if the admins who ran away would just suspend their son who they made a mod.

Nobody has ever heard of microsuck on any forum, yet he's suddenly all over S2. Too funny.

So, did he delete 386 threads, or 386 posts? 386 threads in this forum could be several thousand posts, or even tens of thousands of posts. We usually have a few threads a day that get over 100 replies.

Huh? I'm not afraid of the guy. I think he is a terrible mod, and I am expressing my opinion about it in a thread that he created. I am also calling into question the odd defending of this terrible mod by the S2 admins. You certainly changed your tune on microsuck anyhow, drexlersdad. Why is that?

If you have a beef with me, then PM me about it. I don't see how I'm "always" calling out Blazer posters "like this", either.

What's your problem?

You have been conned into believing his resume. If he had experience on boards, he'd know that deleting 386 posts deleted 20 hours of writing effort, and he wouldn't have done it. He says he deleted them in only about 5 minutes, not over a period of hours. With all the experience he has, he must have had a spaz attack. Does he get seizures?

If he had experience in jobs, he'd know enough to enter a job humbly, not trying to run the company on his first day. If he had experience in life, he'd know that he shouldn't be an asshole.

3 theories why he's still here:

1. It's a love triangle. Microsuck is related to or has pictures of truebelieverfan, who's related to or has pictures of Denny. Or maybe it's bigger, Microsuck himself is related to or has pictures of Denny.

2. It says Microsuck is in Arizona, which we all know is the 2nd-worst state after Texas. Denny and his Robin, truebelieverfan, are conservatives who drool over right-wing computer students. These are rare jewels and must be treasured, not fired.

3. Microsuck is an NSA trainee who is here to gather political beliefs so they can kill us in the next revolution. He just returned from torture duty in Afghanistan and is still the little hellion his parents put up for adoption.

Does it matter if it was only 386 words? There was no reason for a new mod to delete anything, let alone then threaten posters with a banning and follow-up PMs. This must be some sort of street theatre stunt by S2. It's not April Fool's Day, is it?

I don't care that things got deleted. I just find it odd that this microsuck guy has Denny's protection after such a terrible start.

He soft deleted numerous posts and threads. I don't have an exact count, but he says 300+. Most of them were restored. I didn't do a restore of the database from back up because it would have wiped out any new posts made since.

The ones that people obviously complained about were restored. We still have over 2.5M posts on the site, so maybe a tiny fraction were lost.
