However, I think within the borders of America, the unity of this country, the progress of racism, white nationalism, immigrants, our allies across the world, that has all suffered and for the most part, completely and utterly unnecessarily. It is due to his actual words. The lies, the divisive nature of his words, have divided the country. He has created a level of hate that we haven't seen. The culmination of phrases like "grab em by the pussy", "good people on both sides", etc., have worn down america. Making up false numbers, or false statements about "many people think", when nobody thinks it. Its nonstop. He has created this damage on his own. He hides behind "I'm just not Presidential". He makes accusations of the media that is over the top, creating a false sense of doubt that his followers, inexplicably gullible, buy into. Its dangerous. Our elections continue to be tampered with, North Korea, Russia, China, all are no more our friends now than they were 3 years ago. They are in fact, more of a threat now than they were before he started his presidency.

You can scream and yell ad nauseam about bombs and that trump hasnt killed people so we are overreacting. I dont recall anyone except you talking about bombs. Bombs are bad. We agree. Ok. Now that we have established that, that doesnt excuse the lying and divisiveness of Trump. It doesnt mean he gets to be a blabbering idiot. And he is. Now, tell us why he is NOT an idiot, and doesn't really lie.

Have you ever considered your own side’s contribution to the “unprecedented levels of hate” in this country? Look around this forum man! Then extrapolate that on a nationwide level.
You don’t get to constantly spread your own hate, then turn around and scream that someone else is dividing the country. That’s a cop-out. Clean your own proverbial “backyard” dude. The problem starts in the mirror. And that’s not a indictment on you personally, it’s everyone, myself included. Trump doesn’t have the power to hypnotize people into fighting, he’s only a symptom of a larger problem.

Look I'll try one LAST time. What Trump did was purely for his benefit, which is always the case with him, and harmed our country's interests. I might add that innocent Ukrainians died as a result, but you'r enot doubt gonna contest that too.

Lanny, go easy my friend. I've met Jonny and he's a very nice guy. He doesn't agree with your opinions about Trump. Not that big of a deal. Remember, he does agree with you about something more important, the greatest NBA team is the Portland Trail Blazers.

I think it's safe to say that anywhere in the country you are going to hear people complain about Trump....I was hiking a couple days ago and a whole group of hikers I passed were all bitching about him...really reminds me of when Nixon was the brunt of every conversation..it comes with the territory when you lie in public repeatedly

I was the basher and Johnny was the bashee. I will now redouble my efforts to be civil which is something I actually believe in and don't know how I got out of control.

I loved PBR as a youngster in the Midwest..but the options were Storz or Hamms or Bud.....not the toughest competition

In my case, seething hatred is an understatement. I feel more than that for a person I regard as both a traitor and a scoundrel. No, no, it's not you, I place high value in Sly's opinions about others and he places high value on you. Nope, you'll never guess who I'm talking about and his initials are D.T. Sr.

I use to like lucky way back when they brewed some in Vancouver back in the early 70s.
I also use to hate Oly but grew to love it.
And I use to hate Blitz but learned to love that.
All those beers disappeared and I was left with Bud but then they got bought out by a European company and ruined it.
Now, I have to drink, Kirin, Dos Equis, Tsing Tao, Moretti, Guiness stout, St. Pauli Girl or Pilsner Urquel. There are a few others including two German dark beers that I love and Terminator and Maltnomah stouts that I enjoy that are made locally. I don't care for IPAs because I'm not crazy about a lot of hops.

I recall when I first moved to Ga, I was 15, and soon embarked on my drinking orientation...my first time, I drank 3 Colt 45 "tall boys" and was drunk out of my mind and as I was puking I made the first of many promises to god that if he'd let me live, I'd never drink again.

Obviously, I never kept my promise but at the time in my neck of the woods, if you didn't drink "PBR" you were considered to be a wuss...but hell, back then we drank whatever we could scrounge.
