Rainier pounders or Lucky Lager was mine.

I'll tell you a beer that I could buy cheap at the convenience store, and I actually liked it; Hamm's.

And oh, anyone remember "Sterling" beer?...the one in the "wide mouth bottles"?...felt so weird drinking out of them....and Miller "Ponies"?

Funny thing is I used to be an alcoholic pretty bad, and now I hardly ever drink, and I never drink beer. I was into Chocolate Vodka, could down a bottle a night (sometimes more), back about 9-10 years ago...
Now when I drink it's like just my wife and me having a glass of wine.

This looks better than BMW's recent styling trends

I recall when I first moved to Ga, I was 15, and soon embarked on my drinking orientation...my first time, I drank 3 Colt 45 "tall boys" and was drunk out of my mind and as I was puking I made the first of many promises to god that if he'd let me live, I'd never drink again.

Obviously, I never kept my promise but at the time in my neck of the woods, if you didn't drink "PBR" you were considered to be a wuss...but hell, back then we drank whatever we could scrounge.
I was in Florida in 1967 visiting a friend going to school in Tampa. Went out with two guys in his dorm for a fun night. One of them drove the other two of us to a building after dark. We drove to a parking lot in the back and lo and behold there was a beer vending machine. It was outdoors and stationed so people could drive up to it, stick in a quarter and a can of beer would pop out. Not exactly an enlightened part of the country. We bought several cans of beer of an unknown brand, but we were 19 and didn't care what brand, it was a beverage with alcohol in it. We got drunk and drove to the beach. Walked around barefoot in the warm Gulf water. When we tired of that we drove off to look for trouble. A Police officer stopped us and asked us if we had been drinking, we were laughing so hard that he started laughing. Then I asked him if he wanted us to walk the white line in the middle of the street. He laughingly said yes and we tried and failed. He told us to drive home very carefully and not go anywhere else. We drove straight back to the dorm very carefully and didn't go anywhere else. Nowadays we'd be spending the night in the clinker and facing a judge soon thereafter. Our driver would have been fined heavily hand had a drunk driving conviction on his record. It was a really different time. Oh, and we were all White. Something similar happened to me in Portland when I was 18. The officer asked me to follow him to my house on the way home from a drunken party. I did exactly what he asked me to do. Today, I'd be in jail with a record and out a pretty chunk of change.

I was also in Florida in '67 (Longwood)...and yeah, things have definitely changed.

Those little Hamm's mini kegs were pretty cool but would have rather had a different beer. Back in those days my choice of beer was Heidelberg with the little keg bottles. Pretty good beer for a cheap price. My roommate and I went down to northern California in Red Bluff for a drag boat race and then spent a week at Lake Shasta and we convinced the Californians that Heidelberg was an exclusive high end beer similar to Heineken

What frustrates me the most perhaps is the “yeah but...” with Trump supporters. And yes it goes both ways in the world. But right now- today and this week, this month, Trump is being investigated for violating the constitution. And that’s all that matters. He’s going through an impeachment process. Not fucking Obama, or Hunter Biden. Not Pelosi or Hilary. Donald Trump is. That’s it. “Yeah but he’s not so bad he doesn’t drop as many bombs” is irrrrrrrelavant.

Aw too bad. Another bad day.
Mine day was great. I look forward to tomorrow.

In my case, seething hatred is an understatement. I feel more than that for a person I regard as both a traitor and a scoundrel

This is an outsanding post! One which nails it as to the difference between us. By us I mean MarAzul and most of you.

I voted for Trump as did enough Americans in enough States to get the man elected. The process work as it should.
Lanny hates him. So far I rate him as best President of my life time. I am happy. Lanny is not.

To day we got to see the next attempt to remove the duly elected President after the long winded Mueller probe.
Geez! What a shit show. That chief witness reminds me of Ted Baxter, hairs right, tubes are eloquent, but the fucker does know whom is elected to run the show. Nor do the Dems.

Well it is sorry to see so many people worry much but know so little.
I am happy and they are not. Geez, this is a shame.

Yes it is an assumption that the man meant what he said. I thought the,"In my case, seething hatred is an understatement" was a clear clue.

And from that, you conclude that he had a "bad day"?

Bad day? Every network carried an impeachment trial all day long for the nation to see. I walked my dog, grilled burgers for my three sons and am now watching the Blazer game. What’d you do? Still working on your broken boat?

You should be happy! Trump, on the other hand, he seems quite unhappy. Maybe he should build a boat?

Yesterday was great as I watched the republican reps squirm and unable to accomplish anything in their cross examination. Here's to another great day.

60'. My design, completed in 2015.

Wow, that's great, man.

I watched my Grand Dad and my Uncle build a boat from scratch but not nearly on the scale of yours. You must be very proud.

Just curious, how much does it cost to dock a boat like that?

Starting a thread by attacking everyone who might disagree with it, doesn't seem to be a logical way to begin an adult conversation/debate on any topic.
Oh please, don't even pretend like any OT thread on Trump stays "adult" when it comes to anti-trumpers.

At West Point the only totally unforgivable sin is telling a lie. I'd have to say that lying is one one of the top features in determining the shitiness of a President.
So they're all shitty
