My Husband is taking me to 1 more Yankee Game this Season... Against the Bostons on 8/11...and trust me I will be raising Hell. :rotfl:

You shouldn't be.........I will speak for this whole Board and try to get Judge's autograph. :rotfl:

As Big as Judge is, you're going to need a Billboard (paper) and Paint Roller (pen) to obtain his autograph....then you'll need a semi-truck to haul it home....!

Maybe I will run on to the Field like an Idiot and get Arrested. :rotfl:

Actually last time I went to YS, (the Old Timer's Game, last one Mick was in), I yelled out to Mantle, "My buddy Yanxsince-59, told me he's got a table reserved for You both, at the Waldorf Astoria for dinner tonight".....

Mantle did call Security, -

so they could escort me into the dugout/clubhouse, where all was Carte Blanche. I left the clubhouse with gifts, ie- Mick's glove, cleats, jersey and pants, even his hat and bat. Of course Mick gave me those things to give 59, literally giving me the shirt off his back. However Mick took to the field missing those items..........forget streakers. Shame on me, blasphemy against our Idol of all Idols. Couldn't help myself....

...Matts, tell Kim that Annie and I are on her side.

Thanks 59, I will do as much, and thank you both for your support. I thought Dad was a handful; serves me right for complaining about trying times; and/or not seeing enough Yanx games...

Okay I got an autograph from Judge, Doo Doo and Larry Rothschild. Girardi pointed at me like he was going to change Pitchers. :rotfl:

Won't deny his ability, nor his success, but with one exception never cared for the material. I'm not a Streisand Fan either but they did do a nice job on "You Don't Bring Me Flowers. .

WHAT and you didn't bother to give Rotschild his autograph back, like it were used kleenex.....?

Saw video of Neil Diamond singing that song up in Fenway Park with all of the Red Sox Fans. Neil Diamond has sold over 135 million records and I'm damn proud to say I never bought any of them.
...always liked ND myself.

...different strokes for different folks I suppose.

ND is quit a different troubador. Drew millions in his times. Broke in during a very topsy turvy time in music, which was trying like hell to determine what was pop, top 40, or flat out listenable, moreso saleable ie 66-92, from Folk, electric folk, glamor rock, the pop of country rhinestone bs, top 40, the new la sound, hard rock, evey possible genre of re-creations, from the greenwich folk sound. The fknd disco era, the brittish 2nd invastion with their flock of seagull shit haircuts; the grungers unite the Beatles with Zeppelin, some say Kiss with Ozzie, (sorry I couldn't handle either Kiss or Oz, sorry)..........then ya' had Neil, more in the vein of the guy who did it his way............excuse me that was Sinatra....Andy williams...lol..Englebert fkng humerdink

Yeah, I listened to Neil in his days, but never parted with bucks for any vinyl, CD et al. New a few colleagues who went to see his Hot August Night Tour; and they all came back saying it was a "brilliant superb concert". Bought my Mom that CD that year, she listened to the shit out of it, and I as well, whenever we were in her car. Needless to say when she passed the CD winded up into my collection....holly holy...!

Come on Rob.........Why not??? I'm no longer allowed to go to anymore Yankee Games because my Husband is completely mortified. :biglaugh:

because Rothschild's so cheap, he does signatures using his "spent tissues n hankeys", old school. Not worth the plegmn on 'em, to much of a keepsake. ntm- with that old fk, he probably apply's his in b/t inning Prep-H, with those same wipeskaes....
