Hey there, sorry not sorry for the shameless self promotion. I recently started up a small company selling shirts and hats with a logo I designed. I'm originally from Chicago, so the logo is paying homage to my roots, in a sense.
[GALLERY=media, 312][/GALLERY]

The main design is a large C for Chicago, with the state of Illinois cut out of the center. The coloring on this particular one is of the Chicago city flag.

Anyways, wanted to share it with you all. Haven't been around as much recently, with trying to figure out some ends of it, as well as just general life stuff. Probably not the biggest market for it here, but maybe some of you all know of friends and family in Chicago, or from Chicago, and can pass it along, have them take a look!

Good luck to you too!n What sort of thing you looking at? I had bigger dreams with this, and am hoping to shift the set up around if it continues to progress, but for now, found an easy path to market, and took it to get it out there.

I am working on writing / publishing a series of books and building video games related to the expanded universe of it. I think at my current pace the first book will come out the end of this summer (we'll see), and the development of the 1st game is about 20% on my road map. I don't plan to really make a profit if I ever do for a year or two.
Anyways, I've learned through just the last few months of effort how much work it takes to do the small business stuff, much respect! Also as johnnyboy said the design really is legit!

That's awesome! Definitely let us know when it comes out! I believe you're sufficiently nerdy to write a good book and make a good game.

Portland gear already has a P with oregon in the center. I imagine an O would teeter close to trademark infringement

Hmmm...nice logo Colts

Also, their design was lazy. Make the state look the way it looks. If I can, they sure as shit can!!

Did you trademark it?
There's is different, Indiana instead of Illinois, so wouldnt matter. I just thought it was funny when I saw it released today.

Well designed logo! I have a friend who had huge success with his T shirt designs and he started by cornering the airport, train, hotel, tourist, travel agency site crowd...good luck with that! You should also contact the band "Chicago"...they might throw you a bone! Good to see your work...thanks for sharing!

Colts need to go back to Baltimore.
The Cardinals football team and the Cardinals baseball team need to go back to St. Louis.
The Oklahoma City Thunder needs to go back to Seattle and be renamed the Sonics.
The Utah Jazz need to trade with the New Orleans Pelicans and then change the name of the Pelicans to the Mormons or something else Utah related.
I don't know where the Rams are but they need to be in LA.
Houston's football team needs to be renamed The Oilers.
The Raiders need to reside permanently in Oakland never to move again.
Portland's Hockey team needs to be renamed the Buckaroos.
Any Portland Baseball team needs to be called The Beavers.
Do this and I might crack a smile.
