C'mon now, that was way too easy.

I almost put that the day the thread was made.

Cape Town
Dar es Salaam
Zambia
Gujarat

Probably a few more :/</div>

I think you could have a winner or two here. I probably shouldn't count Dar's airport. I don't even know where Gujarat is. For Zambia, though, could you name a town or city? I'm guessing that it'll be hard to get away with an entire country on this list.
</div>
Gujarat is a state in India.

Zambia... Hmm... I was there when I was 2ish, so I'd probably have to ask.

Here's my list:

--Flores, Guatemala
--Do national parks and monuments count? If so, I'll go with a cave called Actun Tunichil Muknal, in Belize's Cayo District where I was last week. don't step on the mayan human skeletal remains
--Garden City, Kansas. If there was a place in the U.S. I'd dare to name, this would be it.
--Alesund, Norway. Only reachable by the coastal steamer that delivers mail.
--Islands of Manihi and Rangiroa, in the Tuomotu archipelago. In the middle of nowhere.
--Algiers, Algeria. Don't advise it.
--Lake Sevan, Armenia. High in the Caucasus mountains. Halfway between the capitals of Armenia (Yerevan) and Georgia (Tblisi), if you drive it.
--Golyazi, Turkey. A little fishing village near Iznik and Bursa.

These are probably the most out-of-the way place I've been. Has anyone been there?

I still have to check out Stamford bridge at least once before I die.

haha, i live less than an hour from Detroit. Its a beautiful city...

but i been to, France, Norway, Finland, and Sweden

You sure you've been to Detroit? Of all the words I can think of to describe it, none of them are anywhere near beautiful.

Kosovo
Macedonia
Serbia
Montenegro

These places maybe some have been to
Germany
Austria
Switzerland</div>

You could have a shot with the top four, but there might be some basketball fans from there that follow players like Nenad Krstic. If you could cherry-pick a couple of small towns, instead of an entire country, you might have a winner, though.
</div>

Ok here are cities (or towns).

Serbia - Medveda, Presevo Valley and Svirc (where my father was born)

Macedonia - Skopje (the capital), Tetovo, and Pallcisht

Montenegro - Podgorica (the capital), Ulcin, Bar and Budva

Kosovo - Prishtina (capital and where I was born), Fushe Kosova (or Kosovo Polje), Gjakova, Peja, Drenica, and many towns and villages

Germany - Dusseldorf, Bielefeld, Herzebrock, Clarholz, Munich, Frankfurt, Wieden

Austria - just Vienna

Switzerland - Zurich and Basel

For Zambia, Kitwe.
Also for Tanzania: Mwanza

Ellicotville, NY.

There's a chance a Canadian or two on this board has been there, particularly if they're from Ontario), but I'm willing to give it a shot.

I've taken a road trip from Santiago up to the northern tip of Chile- coolest place we stopped was called Valle de la Luna.
And a cruise down to the southern end, but I don't recall any land that was particularly memorable.

A six hour boat ride up the Madre de Dios river in Peru to the research station in the rainforest there. Here's the website: http://www.amazonconservation.org/LosAmigo...escriptions.htm

I hiked all around southern Utah, but one of my favorite places was Goblin Valley. If you've seen Galaxy Quest, you'll know it as the place where the little blue miners live.

I have been ringing handbells for my church for about 15 years now. My senior year in high school our choir toured Germany and had one stop in Paris. While there we stayed at the "Friends Hostel" right in the middle of the sex district.
