"Every day, Little wakes up at 6:45 a.m. and makes his way to his first training session. He does two workouts with his strength-and-conditioning coach Randy Hadley (one in the morning and one in the evening) that focus on his “conditioning,” “stretching,” “mobility,” and “strength.” He does two on-court workouts with his skills trainer Darryl Hardin (one in the morning and one in the evening) that focus on his “three-point shooting,” “ball-handling,” “shooting off-the-dribble” and more. He’s working on his craft around the clock.

Awesome to hear. Work ethic is everything for these young kids.

Since high school, Little has studied Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Both stars drastically improved their shot after entering the NBA. Leonard shot 25.0 percent from three in college, but he’s made 38.3 percent of his deep attempts during his NBA career. George shot 29.7 percent from deep as a rookie, but he’s made 38.8 percent of his threes over the past five seasons. Little hopes to have a similar turnaround, but he also models his game after Leonard and George because they’re so well-rounded.

“I watch those guys a lot,” Little said. “With Paul George, I like the way he handles the ball at his size, his craftiness and his ability to score in many different ways. The same can be said for Kawhi Leonard as well. I think Kawhi has improved his ball-handling a lot during his time in the league and he can score in a variety of ways too, whether it’s hitting shots from outside or getting inside. And I really like the way he plays defense. I think they’re both great defensive players.”

I dont know why but i cant be excited about him, really dont know why, maybe because i'm dissapointed that we couldn't draft Bazley, and i'm not a fan of the type of player Little is, hopefully he proves me wrong in the future, i just think a shooter who can space the floor for Dame and CJ would be a lot more valuable for our team. We'll see fams

But seriously I would’ve taken him in the LOTTERY this is ridiculous and he has a huge chip on his shoulder, perfect fit. Not worried about the shooting, he’s a good enough free throw shooter. Roy Williams is also kind of a dork that doesn’t always utilize his talent

Kwahi Leonard wasn't a good outside shooter coming into the league as he shot 25% from the three line and look at him now. We have two of the best shooters in McCollum and Lillard that can help him out.

I get what you are saying and I agree about the type of player we need, but regardless of who we picked we needed a two way player at SF. And the wing players in the draft outside the top few, all needed to improve at something. I love what I am hearing about his work ethic.

Okay, this is from Canzano and I know how “popular” he is around here, but it’s a good quote:

“Bol wore a suit with cob webs on it. Little wore red and black.

It’s like they both knew, right?”
For Bol... crickets would've also worked:oops:

The good,
Little already has elete D and rim area skills.

The not so good.
Shooting, which can be improved with coaching.
Reports of a low BBIQ "may" be missleading. He did not start at UNC due to seniors that knew the game, thus Little came off of the bench. Little appears to be coachable, and has a lot to learn about the game. I'm not sold on the low BBIQ reports.

He is a project, with a high ceiling, and tons of potential. A reasonable low risk vs high reward gamble @ 25.

I can’t believe anyone on this board would be upset about Little at 25! He has top 10 potential out of anyone in this draft.

I honestly believe that very soon...

Little/Collins > Hark/Chief (and it’s not close)

And anyone who wanted Bol Bol over Little I’ll take any bet that Bol is hurt at some point this season and will barely sniff the court when healthy. He’s a MASSIVE project. Little has tools that translate today.

My god, I want him so badly to be acceptable on offense and truly be that lock down wing 3 we've needed for so long.

I remember before the season I was like man I kinda wish we’d suck enough to land one of this years wings and Little was near the top because I love guys that play with swagger. He’s not a finished product but I wouldn’t be surprised if he challenged for playing time early. He’s so talented.

Little’s ceiling is Kawhi/PG/Butler and his floor is Crowder/Carroll/Crash... if we split the difference he could be the next Iggy
