For comments on officiating. Just got it on my text news

He should just start saying "both teams played hard my man." to answer every question from the press.
Did George Karl get fined, too? He actually commented and bashed a play that wasn't called.
Regarding the Game 1 officiating, the Blazers intend to submit a handful of video clips to the NBA for review.
GM Rich Cho keeps a running tab on his BlackBerry during the game of questionable calls or moments, noting the time and play.
Afterward, the Blazers review the clips and, if they feel they have a legitimate gripe, they submit the clips to the NBA for review.
Cho called it "standard protocol."
If his comments work and the reffing is more even-handed tomorrow night, then it will be money well spent. That said, I find it interesting that Stern cracks down so hard on comments about officiating, but does nothing to curb the incessant whining by guys like Popovich that goes on while the games are being played.
BTW, does it bug anybody else that the local reporters who cover the Blazers always take the see-no-evil approach to blown calls? It seems to me that when a guy who does as little complaining as McMillan does goes public about a huge discrepancy in calls, it's a story. I think these guys are so afraid of being called homers that they deliberately avoid addressing the situation. I'd love for one of these guys to sit down with an objective outside expert, maybe a college ref, and watch the video of the game to see if there's enough to support Nate's case. It would make an interesting story either way.
Oh well, maybe Nate's mild whining will work and officiating won't be an issue from here on out.
Yeah, I'm sure that will help. As if the league doesn't know we got fucked by the refs in that game.@ BlazerFreeman

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playo...ss&source=twitter&ex_cid=Twitter_espn_6384356The NBA has agreed with George Karl's assertion that a tip-in late in the Oklahoma City Thunder's 107-103 win -- a basket the Denver Nuggets coach said soured his players' momentum in the game's final minute -- was goaltending.
The league issued a statement Monday afternoon, saying Kendrick Perkins was "improperly credited with a basket that should have been ruled offensive basket interference."
Not sure why recording the fouls/bad calls will help them. If anything, it probably pisses the league off more.
