yeah I was confused too.. I couldnt figure out how Roy went down talent wise lol.

sorry guys that I posted that. Shouldve included BREAKING NEWS eh sly? :P

Why does that guy have Brandon AND LaMarcus going down 1 point each?! What a n00b.

By the way, I will murder any of you at NBA2K10!

I haven't played video games in 10-15 years. Now that we are good again, I want to pick up the newest NBA game this fall. I have a PS2 and my son has a Wii. Which one should I get?

Def get the 2K series. They are much more fun to play than NBA Live. Game play is much more smooth, IMO.

not sure on Wii games.. but NBA games, you cant go wrong with the 2K series. I heard the NBA live game were better lately. But still not as good as 2K.

Do they make these new games for my old PS2 though?

Found this forum via a google search of NBA2K10 ratings. Those are my ratings, not 2K's. I've been editing ratings since 2K3 and I've built up a following. You can find the bulk of my work on gamefaqs.com though I decided to switch to blog format this season.

2K overrated the majority of the star players. Roy and Aldridge were not exempt from this. So it's not about them "getting worse", just being accurately rated.

Roy's block/steal ratings were much too high. Aldridge's block/rebound ratings were much too high. Aldridge's offensive rebounding was so high it was significantly better than Greg Oden's, which we all know is simply not true.

Welcome to our forum. I've never played 2k, and I don't know much about the ratings, but I think it's all very interesting.

anyone who has 2k9 for 360 and wants to relive blazer memories should check out my historic rosters on 2kshare. this year i did rosters from 1991 to 2002.

gamertags: PORTLANDBLAZER and PORTLANDBLAZER2

They seem pretty fair, I think Steve Blake is rated pretty high though. He should be like 76-78 range, behind Rudy Fernandez.

I don't know as I would consider 80 being about the level of a fairly productive starting guard in the NBA.
