Agreed. i buy both games each year and after a week I decide which one will get turned in...lol...this year it only took me 4 days....and that's only cuz I had to work late one night...lol

yeah....Live updates everyday, while 2K updates weekly UNLESS a trade occurs, then it's updated ASAP

Yeah^ They update the ratings weekly.. but if a signing or trade occurs, they fix it right away.

Game slider issue. That's what I was talking about. They need to be tweaked, or else the game is unplayable. Guys like Yao will have 33 rebounds, Dwight will just be impossible to stop in the paint, and like you mentioned, most of your shots will be blocked. Google "NBA 2K9 game sliders" and hopefully you will find ones that will fix the game.

I did manage to somewhat fix the gameplay, but eventually I got sick and tired of it, and sold the game.

It's because the difficulty you play in is too easy. I play HOF settings and the shooting %s are much more realistic than in easier settings.

I got NBA 2k9 too, on xBox. I'm doing the Association with the LA Lakers, difficulty is starter but I still suck. My record is like 3-9 :S
But I like the game, though. In my opinion it is better than Live.

Little bit off-topic but tell me guys please how did you get the Live updater to work on Live 09? I connected my xbox to the Wifi(internet) and they said i need to make an update to connect to xbox live, and the update required a bigger memory card for it.

If i buy the memory card, do i still have to buy also the Live card?

Ontopic: I think defense is more realistic in Live, because the player uses more body.On the other side i've had like 5-6 clutch moments and michael redd always blows them, and then i want to tear the shit up at my house.

And then my friend (Flow) tells me how he's hitting game winners with Kobe in 2K (He has a better record now, lol)
