Is the NBA starting to treat the NBA All Star Game locations like the Superbowl?
Since 2004, these are the cities that have hosted it.
LA
Denver
Houston
Las Vegas
New Orleans
Phoenix
Arlington/Dallas
LA
Orlando
Houston
New Orleans
So...since 2004 LA has had it twice, Houston has had it twice, New Orleans will have had it twice once next years game is done.
Not saying Portland should get it or whatever (that ship sailed a long long time ago), but it's pretty obvious that the ASG has become more about outright making money (LA twice in 7 years, Houston twice in 7 years, New Orleans twice in 6 years)...
Did they make an announcement that i missed that they're just going to rotate the ASG between a few cities?
