Kim Jong-un is also an NBA fan, in case anyone has the audacity to hurt his feelings...

This is I think a good response from the league, but I didn't get the hate their first one got. I thought it basically said the same thing.
"the values of the league support individuals’ educating themselves and sharing their views on matters important to them"
Morey?
He tweeted "Fight for Freedom" which is a call to violence.
He should have known what the reaction would have been. Morey has always been a dumbfuck.
Quick, someone warn Lebron not to yell, "Taco Tuesday!" today.
How do you think we got our freedom?
Were we slaves?
How do you think we got our freedom?
John Hancock tweeted the declaration, and Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Ben Franklin all re-tweeted it.
Will this mean we won’t see the lady throwing plates on the bike at halftimes?
Can you imagine just how many tweets it took to send the entire declaration?Hence the famous saying 'the revolution will be instagrammed'

My opinion on this is getting a bit more clear. I originally and still feel the Morey tweet was pretty dumb from a guy in his position.
But my feeling on the entire situation is "Fuck China!".
I don't give a rats azz if they drop the NBA altogether. Maybe the Chinese people will eventually get tired of their government?
How do you think we got our freedom?
Silver's reign as NBA commish is on borrowed time. This won't end well for him.
Commissioner Yao Ming!
Meanwhile...
Historic day:’ Pacers clip Kings in overtime in first NBA game played in India
https://www.sacbee.com/sports/nba/sacramento-kings/article235788387.html
"The game marked the first time a North American professional sports league has staged an event in India. It represented the NBA’s strongest push yet to penetrate a market with 1.3 billion people and served as a special homecoming for Kings owner Vivek Ranadive, who left his homeland as a teen to pursue his dreams in the United States."
...
NBA commissioner Adam Silver also addressed the media during a news conference before the game.
“Of course this is a landmark for the NBA in that it’s our first-ever game on Indian soil,” Silver said. “It’s been a long time in the works.”
Except they still have to feed their people. No they will not be ruling the world any time soon. At least not if the US can get past buying their crap.Dropping the NBA is the least of the NBA's problems. Chinese companies could simply pull out of producing NBA goods or increase the cost of those goods.
This is how China will be operating in the future when they rule the world.
They will literally bulldoze the opposition.
