Interesting question (to me): if an expansion draft were held tomorrow, which 8 players would we protect, and who would likely be the first player chosen of those left unprotected?
so he wouldn't be one of your top 8?Ed Davis.

7 seem certain:
Lillard
CJ
Turner
Crabbe
Harkless
Aminu
Plumlee
Who's #8? Davis? Leonard? Vonleh?
And the winner of the 2017, 2018,2019 nba draft is, SEATTLE!So each team can only protect 8 players? A new team should have to sign what's left of the free agency sesspool and build they're team from the bottom up accordingly like everyone else.

Ed Davis.
There's enough talent to go around and support 2 more teams probably. One in Seattle, and prolly Vegas.Further diluting the talent of the league...
Here's mine. I don't particularly like Aminu or Vonleh (yet?), but I'd protect them as assets. I protect Aminu because of his contract, and leave Crabbe unprotected because of his. I protect Vonleh because of his potential and leave Davis unprotected because of his lack of potential.Interesting question (to me): if an expansion draft were held tomorrow, which 8 players would we protect, and who would likely be the first player chosen of those left unprotected?
This shit just made me spit out my hot chocolate up here at the Starbucks FAMS!Hmm. Kevin Calabro will be following this story closely, IMO. Perhaps the Mikes will rise again?
Harkless is cheap - it's Crabbe that's expensive. We'd protect Vonleh and probably NOT protect Turner or Harkless. Both have expensive contracts for not being a first or second option.

Damn, my wife loves those things!FTFY
Two more cellar-dwellers!There's enough talent to go around and support 2 more teams probably.
