I would put who voted for who and whatnot, but I know that there are some people in this draft who take things a little too personally. Therefore, I won't do so. Granted if ZAE says otherwise, then by all means go for it.

I will however, towards the deadline check if anyone voted for themself, and either discount that self-vote or even deduct an extra vote for it. But then again, this is not my draft. I'm just covering.

can people from outside the draft vote? can we publicize the draft more in team forums?
 
I'd try not to allow people from outside the draft to vote, which is why I kept it in here. This "game" of the GM Draft, is to have the draftors do the voting. At least that is how I perceived the rules to be. Again this isn't my draft that I'm running. However, this calls for alot of people to be honest and truthful, rather than voting for their own teams, friends, and whatnot. But I cannot control any of that. So we'll just see how it goes.
 
So, could we do this NBA playoff-style?

As in, 8 seeds in each conference, decided by number of votes?

8 games 1st round, 4 games 2nd, 2 games conference finals, and then the championship
 
I think anyone who wants to vote should vote. This is for fun and if people think it's fun to look at the teams and give an opinion why should we stop them?

I like that but ill be a little afraid of people campaigning for there teams through personal messages
 
Lol I don't mind, I'm not stopping anyone :D

and I believe we are doing playoffs, with matchups and stuff, cause maybe an 8 seed will matchup really well with a 1st seed that was in another division....we don't know, so once playoffs start, we analyze it by matchups.

I think it'll be fun right?

Eh. People don't like being told who to vote for.
 
Using someone's real name is the quickest way to lose at S2.
 
I would've done anything to keep that Joe Johnson pick lol

It's not like I wouldn't of gotten some of the guys I have now.

Man it's 2:26AM here on the West Coast, and I'm just refreshing the pages here, and I see that yinets8160 is on...so I go check out the polls because I'm keeping track of all this on a spreadsheet, so that I can set up the playoffs for you guys. And lo and behold, there IS an update in the votes...in all of the divisions and all the teams, there was one vote added that was different from my spreadsheets, and that was a lone vote for the Dallas Mavericks...

Sorry I thought that was kind of funny.
