The drinking age itself is not a blue law. Banning the sale of alcohol on Sunday would be the correct example. A "blue law" is a law designed to ban the sale of certain things on Sunday for religious standards. (These laws are unconstitutional IMHO)
The idea for a drinking age came from the blue laws and for the same reason.
So does the drinking age of 21 mean that people are somehow not mature until they're 21? Do tell!
Then tell why people under 21 are allowed to own and carry firearms or smoke tobacco.

It's the equivalent of the "some people are saying" brand of news.
