Rasheed could be a verbal idiot, but he wasn't kicking people in the groin or stomping on an opponent or doing the physical things that Green does. I think he should have been suspended more often. He has been allowed to get away with nonsense that nobody else has. Glad he finally got suspended again. It took long enough. And that crap with the fans isn't good either. That is what can make for a bad situation. You can't taunt on the floor, yet he was going full bore at the Kings fans.
Ya sheed only had beef with the refs and some media. He was beloved by both his teammates and opponents. He was never dirty.

Draymond is a bitch

How about Rasheed Wallace resounding 41 T's in a season coupled with 29 ejections. People around this place actually think he was worth it?
You are absolutely correct. Draymond Green on the downside of his career would be a terrible move.
At least Rasheed with all his faults was a legit two way all-star averaging 19ppg. He complained to refs, he never stomped players or punched teammates. The last 5 years Draymond has averaged 7 or 8ppg.

I don't agree. Waste of space. Fell in love with the jumper and refused to work hard on defense. SOFT. When he didn't feel like playing he just decided to get kicked out of the game and then he just went and cashed his check. Watched it time and again.

So you are really picking Draymond over Sheed though?

You know how much shit Draymond gets away with? He sat on Domantas game 1 and nothing. Yet, now he is a victim because maybe Domantas intimated his own chest stomping? Draymond is no victim.

I get the feeling of needing to take matters into your own hands. Draymond though was not and is not helpless. Like I said above, he could have stood there and pointed out to the refs that Domantas had his leg. Domantas would have gotten a foul, probably a take foul. Taking matters into one's own hands most often just makes things worse. Draymond decided to stomp Domantas. The results were his own fault. Not Domantas's.

In the NBA we do see initiators get in trouble too. Double techs. Double fouls. We see it all the time.

When a player is continuously openly dirty. He brings on himself what he sows.

I dont Blame Draymond. I blame the refs. Like all rules in sports and life, people test the boundaries. If no one is going to punish someone the first time, they will continue to do the same things increasingly frequently.

Also. I was wrong. I watched the replay over and over but never watched the game so i missed that Sabonis got a tech until driving home yesterday and i heard it on the radio. Could have sworn i heard he got nothing.
Tech for him and ejection for Draymond seems fair. No suspension though.

The same old nonsense.

"When he wanted to, he could have been an all-time great. Instead, his attitude made him worthless."

Just ridiculous. He was never going to be an all-timer and he had a lot of dumb outbursts. That doesn't mean he wasn't a very, very good player.

He'd make Rasheed look like a boyscout.

You must be mistaken and tagged the wrong post because nowhere in my post did it say anything like what you quoted.

That sounds fair to me, although I think he should have gotten a suspension for his actions with the crowd. They are separate incidents in my eyes.

Green did get suspended for 1 game.

Nope.

Let's see what I said you said and what you said.

What I said you said: "When he wanted to, he could have been an all-time great."
What you said: "Fell in love with the jumper and refused to work hard on defense. SOFT."
You didn't mention that he could have been an all-timer in your post, but given he was a multiple-time all-star and one of the most productive and successful Blazers ever, presumably you'd think he'd have been better if he hadn't "fallen in love with his jumper", "refused to work hard on defense" and been "SOFT".

What I said you said: "His attitude made him worthless."
What you said: "Waste of space... When he didn't feel like playing he just decided to get kicked out of the game and then he just went and cashed his check."
This I almost exactly restated.

If you didn't mean to repeat the same old nonsense about his attitude, lack of meeting potential, and worthlessness as a Blazer, then you probably shouldn't have posted what you did.

Do you quite often put words that you perceive someone meant into their comments?
Must be fun living in a world where you can rewrite everything you read and make it fit your narrative?
Oh that’s right? You’re a moderator here. You can just rewrite stuff anyway.

Has a player the status of Morant ever had less impact on winning? They sure seem to be better without him.

I don't have to rewrite anything. I was paraphrasing.

You claim my comment wasn't consistent with your post, and I showed you that it was. Rather than point out why I misinterpreted or misrepresented your POV, you attacked me as a poster.

As I said, I don't need to rewrite anything to show you you're incorrect and I get the sense you aren't really trying to be logical.

@Ed O I don’t think this rookie knows who he’s dealing with here, did you need me to handle this?

Huh? Thats exactly what you did. Or you would have just quoted his posts verbatim.
Instead you rewrote it without showing what he said exactly.
I mean, how can you seriously think you didn't rewrite his posts?

I don’t care who he is?
He flat out rewrote my post and he knows it. I absolutely never said the things he tried to imply I said. I’ve seen how you respond to that sort of thing. It ain’t pretty.

I just read this and laughed my ass off.
“I didnt rewrite your post. I paraphrased. I summarized!!!”

thats rewriting. Lol. If not, just quote the actual post!

Looks like he was suspended. I didn't watch the after effects so i missed it. If he initiated a conflict with the fans, understandable. If fans started stuff with him on his way out and he yelled back, not suspension worthy. Opponents crowds can be very rude at times.
