NBA warns Dame & his agent to stop asking for trade to just one team

Good to know. Should've been the response on day 1 of these reports.

Might have taken the NBA a bit to decide how to enforce this as I don't think we've ever had an agent demand this 1 team thing for a player under contract as forceably as Goodwin is doing.

Dame, you let this agent lead you into destroying your brand. You were special. Now you're just another star. I know the situation in Portland isn't great but this could have been handled better.

Do yourself a favor and fire this dude.

Shams said sources are saying Goodwin is denying that he called teams saying it was just Miami.

Lol

I do what I should for my client. Some teams I did call. Other teams have called me. It’s a respectful relationship with most teams. Truthfully, he wants to play in Miami. Period

The NBA is a joke. There’s no other way to say it. They look the other way every year while teams are tanking, then slap the wrist of a team like Dallas if they admit they’re tanking. Now, a month after Lillard demanded a trade to Miami, and the whole league has been talking about it, they tell Lillard to stop talking about it.

They’re a joke. The inmates are running the asylum.

They should call it the Loyalty Rule, just to perpetually piss Dame off. Not that we want him angry at us when we have to play him, but to forever smear the image he has tried to convey.

Man, this is really getting ugly. Handled poorly by all parties concerned. When I compare this to Clyde requesting a trade to the Rockets and how the team placed value in how he had conducted himself during his tenure, shameful.

About time.

Dame needs to fire his agent and also stop acting like primadonna about this whole thing. I don't care how much he has done for this team, let's be blunt: It will be a great fucking day when this is resolved so everyone can move forward.

Just shut your mouth Dame and focus on basketball, not trying to be an expert at chess.

I like this, and am glad the NBA put it's foot down on this bullshit. I think there's a good chance a deal would have already been done if they didn't piss in the punch bowl.

Unfortunatly, the damage has already been done in this case.
