Winners during this - Owners, Scoot, Simons, Cronin, Grant....

Losers during this - Haynes, Goodwin, C'Heat.....

I resisted putting Mr. Lillard on the losers list.....cus he's still banking 43 large.

Sam Amico is saying he's heard from sources that the NBA might not approve a Dame trade to Miami and the NBA league office was livid about what Goodwin did

Interesting, does the NBA have the power to block a trade? I know Stern blocked a Paul trade to the Lakers, but the Hornets were under league control at the time I believe.

Perhaps it could be veto'd on the grounds of tampering or some such thing.

All great points and we addressed that a bit as well.

As they should be.

Players have been babied for a long time. Harden is essentially doing the same thing. They MAJOR difference has been Goodwin was very overt about it.

I's a little confused....was this all discussed in a thread here and I missed it?....or did you guys talk about it in the podcast?

Podcast. It should be up shortly.

Lol. I'm pretty sure the NBA knew what was going on. Cronin didn't need to go to the NBA.

I would imagine multiple other small market teams did, though.

We addressed that very point.

I’m usually pretty cautious about anything out of Amico’s mouth, but it ‘would’ look pretty bad for the league if Portland accepted that pu pu platter of a deal and basically rewarded Goodwin’s tactics which would become the playbook—moreso than they already are.

Shams said sources are saying Goodwin is denying that he called teams saying it was just Miami.

Lol
He didn't have to call them directly. He got the message out loud and clear. Nothing the league says now is going to change that. The league is just pretending they give a shit now after the damage is done.

Man, this is really getting ugly. Handled poorly by all parties concerned. When I compare this to Clyde requesting a trade to the Rockets and how the team placed value in how he had conducted himself during his tenure, shameful.
So your take away from this reveal is...it's the Front Office's fault? Goodwin is this your burner account?
