NCAA 07 has dissapointed me

So, I got my XBox 360 along with NCAA 07 last week tomorrow, and off the bat, I loved it. Solid graphics, although sometimes chunky. Decent animations, but expected more. Dynasty Mode, while basic, was realy cool.So I open up on the 2nd level (Difficulty settings), and after a few games, I am winning games by 40+ points. I up it to the 3rd level, and after a few games, am willing by 20+ points everytime, good team or bad. So what's next? Heisman Mode, the 4th level. In the past few days, I've came to be so frustrated of the game I'm starting to regret I bought it.For starters, I've always been a good Madden and NCAA player. Lasy year, with Madden 06, I was beating everyteam by 30+ points on All - Madden Mode with Gameplay sliders increased on the computers side in order to raise my challenge. I dominated all levels of NCAA 07, until I got to Heisman. Any tips for me to get better at the game?My defensive problem is:- My defense always stops the opposing team until 3rd Down, where they always get past the markers. I've tried playing as the CB, LB, DLine, FS and SS. In all situations, things happen beyond my control as the AI QB throws the ball to a reciver, most of the time a reciever I'm not covering. The result? A catch, and a movement of the markers.My offensive problem is:- Even though I've got both run and pass blocking upped by 10 points in the sliders, I still have minimal passing time (Normally one - two seconds MAX) and on the run, something I've always been good at, one of my blockers screws up and I'm matched up with atleast two linebackers, instead of one upon handing the ball offI'm trying so hard not to adjust the stupid sliders, as I have a thing whereas I try playing the game as the makers wanted me to play it: With sliders on default. Tips to get better offensively? Defensively? Overall? Thanks boys

You sound good.I've only played NCAA 07 once and I stopped right there. To me it was exactly the same as 06, no thanks.

only thing better for 360 is the graphics. there's way more plays, trick plays, game modes, and features for Ps2.

I play on PS2. But maybe I can help you out.Defensively. Change up your coverage. You cant stay in zone or man-to-man all the time. The computer catches on to your preferences and they know where the holes are. Change blitzes. After the 2nd or 3rd time you use a blitz play, it isnt effective anymore. I would recommend playing as the FS. If you are good enough, you will be able to help out on the run and defend the deep ball at the same time. Just watch out for the play-action.Offensively. Once you get into a flow, the defense opens up. Again, here dont use the same plays over. Screens, draws, counter running plays, I would not recommend. Takes too long to set up. Instead, get used to knowing who to dump the ball off to quickly. Once you dump it off when pressure arrives a couple times, the pressure will lessen. Running the ball... Usually easier to pass first then run. Dont use the same plays over too many times. Basically... Dont use the same plays, you pretty much have to use your whole playbook. And if you repeat plays, which you will have to, dont throw to the same guy. Mix it up.
