Event NCAA ripcitytwo bracket - Round of 32

The committee needs to start looking at BPI and KenPom instead of RPI when seeding teams. The Pac-12 is the number one reason

Sure seems to be working today. Of course, most of you people are probably watching the Blazer game. You're missing out on the performance from this complete unknown on Stephen F Austin, Thomas Walkup. With his versatility, his beard, and his ability to draw fouls, he's basically a white James Harden. Except he also plays defense.

Great finish in the ND-SFA game. Heartbreaking defeat for the lumberjacks, especially considering the shove that wasn't called on the game winning rebound.

Tres tinkle reminds me of harden too, the way he can draw fouls. Minus the beard though

Ok. Blazers are done shitting the bed, so I can pay attention to this now.

Phew. That was close. Can we install a home grown rule like in soccer so we can get Dillon Brooks.

I think oregon got a really good to finally 4. They can match up with anyone in the country.

I think they will finally 5!

Haha in all seriousness I think them vs. Duke is a coin flip. They'd be favored vs Texas A&M who got lucky to get into the Sweet 16. However I don't think they can defend Oklahoma and that would be the toughest matchup for them out of the teams remaining.

Watching March Madness really make me wish there was a bigger college football playoff. Imagine if there was an 18 team college football playoff... Each conference winner got in, the bottom 4 conference winners would play a playin for the 8th seed in both regions (there's 2 regions). There would be 8 first round games played on the weekend before Christmas at regional sites. Play two games on a Friday night and then 6 on Saturday that start at noon, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10pm (ET). In the Elite 8, have the 4 games be all the BCS bowls (Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl, Cotton Bowl) with 2 on New Years Eve and 2 on New Years Day. The top seeded Pac 12 school would play the Rose Bowl, and other historic correlations could be covered. The Final 4 and championship would be at the Championship site.

People would fill out brackets for that, and it would create a ton of entertaining playoff football. It would keep many teams in the race, as if you still have a chance at your conference championship, you'd still have a chance at the playoffs. That being said, it would still place a big premium on the regular season, as there's only 8 at large teams and seeding would matter. Yes it would be 4 playoff games for the top 2 teams, which is a lot, but it's only 2 teams and 2 more games with 2 week layoffs in between won't be that big of deal in my opinion. Two more would have to play 3, but the layoff is enough. 1 to 2 more games wouldn't matter at all. It would also bring in extra revenue for schools and the NCAA if you wanna think corporate. I'm hoping that this is a reality in the next 10 years.

I'll take it if Schilly doesn't want it, I'll pass on it if he does.
