You're an idiot. Typical use of the word ignorance. As if I don't understand the issue because I don't agree with you. You're aghast because I typed a word. Holy fuck dude, get over yourself.

You were more offended by me using a description of the behavior than the actual behavior. That is completely ridiculous.

You have ignorance on the issue of the N word in rap music.

The er version is never used. The er and a versions mean two completely different things. Yet your statement equates them. Hence the reason for my use of the term ignorant. You however, feel the need to break forum rules and personally attack me by calling me out of my name...

So we can't go to the Emergency Room? Do we just die?

Huh. I guess I was ignorant of that also. I'm happy to learn something new.

Of course, I don't listen to a lot of rap, so that's my excuse. Except when the guy in the next car has a louder stereo than mine, and can drown out my Barbara Streisand. But not many people can.

He's not a kid and he really does have "Special needs"

More prone to think its more of a schtick than a special needs.

We will never know for sure nor is it really our business. He's harmless and a pretty good guy.

As for the post. Any trade that brings back a quality two or three I think would really help the team.

I was thinking about Kaman a few days ago when the Clippers (pre-Jordan-flip) were pretty much screwed. I think that one of the bigger "values" that Kaman (and his contract) have now that it's guaranteed is that it can bring back up to 7.6M in players, depending on the type of trade and who with (or, combined with our cap space, can save a team a mid-max salary). But that only helps a team if they're over the cap and either a) haven't used their exceptions or b) want to get below the tax threshold. Trading him to a team with space doesn't make a ton of sense, as they don't need (can't have) trade exceptions (neither can we, right now) and if you're acquiring him for his play alone, it's probably not worth 5M.

But for a team that can dump a bunch of salary, getting a 5M contract back for a 20M contract/set of contracts can easily save 50M in luxury tax payments. Getting under the tax can allow a team to use their full MLE rather than the taxpayer MLE, and can help with a hard cap. Or, like the Clippers were, if a team doesn't have availability to sign anyone other than a vet min exception, Kaman's contract allows them to bring back that 7.6M worth of player(s). If someone has a chance, maybe look up which teams after the FA flurry are exceptioned-out, which ones are above the tax line and which ones have ongoing questions (like Thompson in CLE or Kanter for OKC)
