MCW: 15 PER with a 26 USG%
Yuck. I can see why they tried to trade him last summer.
If you squint a bit you can also see why they still have him.

Snell? Come on.... Giannis would be pretty awesome to have right about now though.
He was my 1A on draft day. :-/
My 1B is already elite at getting under the skin of opponents - Steven Adams.
Every other game some guy is pushing or throwing an elbow at Adams. He's the modern day Bill Laimbeer.

And Laimbeer could nail the three.
So you are saying there is hope for Leonard?!
Sure, if you combined Leonard's shooting and Adams tenacity.
I think Adams has better court awareness and understanding of how to play than both of them put together. He doesn't have their skill or athleticism though. Thank god.I was thinking more T Rob and Leonard, but yours works too
Serious question: would Giannis (as a 3/4) have gotten off the bench in the last 2 years for us? We wouldn't have played him over Batum/Dorell last year (whether we should've or not). I have this feeling that if we'd have drafted Giannis and CJ had gone to, say, MIL, we'd be talking about how this kid in MIL looks like a poor-man's Lillard and we got this project kid that shoots 40% in limited time.

ive thought this a bunch of times, all these guys we pine over would basically be claver, key word being PINE
im more of an oak guy
im all about dat hard wood
How about, "that kid has some unique offensive potential For a seven footer."
I just didn't really see it then, and I don't see it now.
CJ will be fine. He has a nice all around game. Much better defender than I thought he would be.
Yeah, MCW is a shitty version of Rondo and Rondo is not a good offensive player either.
Neil's picks looked good last night.
True, look at the score
I wouldn't be eager to trade CJ I can tell you that. Everyone has a price of course though...
True, look at the score
LOL. I almost included the caveat of 'for bench players'.True, look at the score
Obviously they didn't look like NBA starters. This is the thing that gets me the most - the difference in the myths between Rondo (myth = horrible shooter) and LMA (myth = terrific shooter). Last year Rondo shot 48.9% from the 15-19' range, while LMA shot 43.4%.I completely disagree. Rondo is a horrible shooter. That is all. Everything else he does on offense (one of the best passers in the NBA) is amazing and awesome. Being a bad shooter does not make you a bad offensive player.
