OT Netflix announces Ozark to end with two-part final season

Just watched the 1st episode of the 2nd half of this last season…..”Cousin of Death”

Now as a true hip hop head, I was just mesmerized by the usage of one of my favorite artists, NAS.

One of his most famous lines is, “I never sleep, cuz sleep is the cousin of death”

Ruth uses this in the diner scene as she is talking to Killer Mike.

I could safely say that 99.9% of people watching OZARK had no fucking clue when he tells her to cut back on the coffee because she won’t be able to sleep and Ruth replies, “I never sleep” and he asks ,”Why?” And she replies, “Well, you know” and walks out.

As a NAS junkie this blew my mind!

NO WAY the average OZARK fan got this! Wonder why the writers did this?
