Nets are looking at Barbosa, Diaw, Bargnani, and Carmelo

My 2 cents:

Barbosa absolutley yes.

Melo yes, even more so if it means Camby.

Bargnani depending on what we give up.

Diaw no.

IM BRASILIAN, BARBOSA IS BRASILIAN....EVERYONE IS HAPPY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus Christ Andrea?! No, I prefer to stay away from him. The last thing the Nets need on their team is a soft jump shooting big man; that has yet to show much promise.

Barbosa, I like, but Diaw on the other hand isn't making me smile.

i would trade marcus or boone straightup for bargnani but other then that, **** the raptors

I'm not sure about Bargnani. His value is probably at an all time low right now, and he still does have plenty of potential...
But he makes close to $5M for 2 seasons. It may be a little too risky to take him, simply because of the salary.

This is how I see it: if NJ makes a trade for a REAL big man (Brand), then get Bargnani. If they don't make a trade or trade for Melo, don't get Bargnani.

As much as i'm not thrilled about Diaw, he and Andrea are really nice passers and playmakers. Sure they both have their faults but they would do really nice things in and to our offense because of that dimension alone. These kind of moves would also help take some of the pressure off of our guards to help keep from running them down over the season.

Players like Andrea take time to develop, even if he's the number one pick, and I can only imagine Sam Mitchell is doing more harm to him than good when it comes to seeing growth from him so i'd prefer him over Diaw. As much as Frank is a defensive coach either player would open up the offensive end of the floor so much we could live with any flaws they have. The major questions to both would be how we were to use them. Acquiring Bargnani or Diaw would take a concerted effort by the coaching staff to start creating mismatches instead of fitting those guys in to try and match up with other teams.

Truthfully my concerns behind these players lie more in the coaching staffs use of them than the actual players themselves. I know Frank isn't Don Nelson but the only real notable 'experiment' we've seen the past couple years has been a Williams/Kidd(now Harris) back court.

Forty percent of the city's population is foreign born, the highest percentage in its history.

Suppose Bargnani is Nowitzki? It would be a high risk, high reward move, the kind Thorn likes to make. I dont know if that means Krstic is gone or that Krstic agrees to a low ball offer. Can they play together? I dont really know.

I like Bargnani, but I wouldn't give up to much for him. Barbosa is nice too. I don't like Diaw though.

to be honest id take barbosa and diaw... i really like how diaw plays and remember hes a utility man on the defensive side of the ball... he can play the 1,2,3,4 and some 5s .... hes very versatile... and u remember what he did against the spurs ? POSTED HIM UP and he converted
