At 5 p.m. today (Thursday), the Nets picked up the third-year options for Sean ($1.6M) and Yi ($3.2M), and the fourth year for Josh Boone ($2.056M). Mo Ager's third year, which would have set them back $1.9M, was not picked up.

I suspect this is rant-proof. No one expected Ager's extension to be picked up, and Boone and Sean were widely expected. This certainly doesn't have the drama of last years' decision on Antoine Wright.

Sounds good to me. Too early to give up on Sean.

Why are we giving up on Sean? Sure he needs to work on expanding his game, but I still see him as a bright spot on the Nets squad. With the right attitude, he'll show his worth.

I can't really judge Ager. I haven't seen him play much, but it looks like he's the odd man out. He isn't going to get minutes over Najera, CDR, Dooling, Hayes, or Simmons.

eh, only because he believes in the guy. I'll be pissed if they don't eventually keep Sean on the team.

Even though Sean isn't improving his game at a pace we want him to, his Talent/Potential is too much to give up on already, especially with the minimal money he is being paid.
