Nets donate money for Lodi center

Even as donations poured in, there simply wasn't enough money to rebuild the court in time for basketball season, which draws some 350 kids between ages 5 and 18.</p>

Then last month Mike Nardino, the executive director, got a call from the New Jersey Nets. A community outreach initiative by the NBA, the WNBA and Toyota wanted to donate $50,000 for a new basketball court, to be built in time for the start of the season next month.</div></p>
