Rookie Sean Williams started at center, blocking three shots, but also committing eight fouls and four turnovers, and scoring just two points. Marcus Williams led the Nets with 19 points, but shot just 5-of-18 from the field. Hassan Adams recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards, and Robert Hite hit 4-of-5 from downtown. J.J. Damn, horrible stats for them in the off-season so far.

I just got NBA TV, so I hope I get to see them play.

Sean Williams 1-3 he had 4 turnovers 8 fouls 2 points 3 blocks and i think 2 boards. not impressive not bad though comparing him to other bigs (every big has been in foul trouble that is a rookie) i like the three blocks though

Well a lot of the rookie big men seem to be fouling machines, and some of the non rookie big men as also getting a lot. Remember the refs are also rookie refs, but:

Greg Oden - 9 FPG / 4 TPG / 24.5 MPG
Jason Smith - 6 FPG / 2 TPG / 27 MPG
Glen Davis - 6 FPG / 3.5 TPG / 28 MPG

Jackie Butler - 7 FPG / 2.67 TPG / 27 MPG
Dwayne Jones - 6 FPG / 5 TPG / 20.5 MPG
Diop - 4 FPG / 1.5 TPG / 24.5 MPG (he's blocking 4 shots a game though)
A.Johnson - 6 FPG / 2.5 TPG / 22.5 MPG
Mensah-Bonsu - 3 FPG / 5 TPG / 24 MPG
O'Bryant - 4 FPG / 1 TPG / 21 MPG

I don't think some of these guys foul rates are that high in the NBA. But I think Williams was expected to be a foul machine as a rookie anyways, a lot of young bigs who we'd have called smarter players than him were foul machines too.
