<{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Man Kevin Pritchard has been killing these drafts as of late...Chad Ford has them taking Alexis Ajinca @ 13, Nicholas Batum @ 27 and Ante Tomic @ 33...adding 3 players of that caliber to a already solid core. wow.</div>
they will not keep all of the second runders. they have too many players under contract...thats why they are willing to dump Jack or Blake. They have Oden and Fernandez as rookies next yar and two first round picks overseas--Koponen and Freeland. First round picks have to be given firm guaranteed contracts.
</div>
Considering alll players projected in Ford's mock draft are foreign born players isn't it possible that the Blazers keep them stashed in the respective countries for 2-3 seasons and slowly add them to there core?
Don't get me wrong I could totally see them making a move up the draft board in order to grab one really good prospect, problem is that there true needs are at PG and none of the players after Derrick Rose seem to be worth a top 10 pick.
</div>
Not really true PGs, will be available after Rose/Westbrook, you're looking at Gordon and Bayliss as possibilities after 5. Not true PG's, but given the versatility of Brandon Roy, Portland can't really go wrong with either Gordon or Bayliss at that point....if that is their true target.
</div>
Only Bayless would be interesting to see on the Portland Roster...my guess is they were going after the 10th pick in order to grab DJ Augustine who probably won't be available at 13.
