<{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I apologize for asking this (since you guys seem pissed off about it) but what's wrong with that tactic? If he isn't hitting the freethrows, that helps the Warriors right?
</div>
Doing it with 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter is uncalled for. It's not basketball.
</div>
Why? It's a strategy that looks good. If it helps secure a win, does it really matter what quarter it's utilized?
</div>
It's not basketball.
</div>
Can you be more specific as to why it isn't?
</div>
The game isn't a free throw shooting contest. It ruins the game.
</div>
Makes the game boring, yes, but free throw shooting is part of the game. If it is a particular weakness in a player, why not exploit it in order to benefit?
</div>
It's a cheap way of playing that does not honor the true way a game of basketball is played. I have no problem in doing it with 3 minutes left in the 4th, but doing it with 3 minutes left in the 3rd is a cheap way to play the game.
</div>
Cheap or not, if you win the game does it
really matter? I do understand what you're saying, though.
