The Raps were a crappy team the first two meetings. And VC played terribly when the Nets beat us last year.

Meh, I don't really think its a big deal. Its easy to criticize it when your team's been around since '67, but you have to remember that the Raps are still a really new franchise. We've only had two franchise players in our history and the first one badly screwed us over. The fact they play him 4 times a year (because our dumbass GM traded him in the division) makes it a little harder to "get over it."

Plus, as I said earlier, it always seems to work.

Ah you guys get too upset over the Toronto fans booing Carter, I remember 2 years ago when I went to the Raps v Nets game in Toronto we booed Carter and it just adds a bit more of entertainment. I really like watching VC highlights of his days in Toronto and if he had the will he could have elevated his game to a new level but he didnt, instead he moaned and bitched and critized the franchise and tried playing GM and he got traded to the Nets for virtually nothing!

I remember the Nets and Raptors fans on this board had a debate over which PG tandem is better Ford/Calderon or Kidd/Williams.....I just remember trying to defend Calderon and Ford but I and some other Raps fans were outnumbered, what im getting at is Calderon doesnt get any respect in the NBA no matter how efficient he is.

no Net fan should complain about the booing Carter receives because we do the same thing to Zo.

Booing is part of the game. It only gets out of hand when it goes further than that but if it's only booing I have no problem with it. Boo Carter till you turn blue and the Oompa Loompas carry you off with a song and dance.
