Does anyone notice how Eddie Jordan doesn't put Etan Thomas into the game unless Boone is on the floor?
 
Anyone have that photo of Brook and Yi? I want it as my avatar. I can't seem to find it.
 
Good win. Yi and Hayes played very well. VC looked like his old self.

Simmons, on the other hand, looked bad and Hayes may just win the starting SF position soon.
 
I agree. Hayes definitely played well and deserves the starting spot over Simmons. Too bad Hayes was out the preseason, so he had less time to gel with the starting unit. I like our lineup ouut there in the last few minutes. Harris/VC/Hayes/Yi/Lopez.

Hayes played great, but I don't get why everyone is saying Simmons looked bad.

He got up quick for the jam and his foot speed was good. He was playing good defense.

Other than missing shots, I thought he looked healthy and played fine.
 
Wow... nets play really unselfish bball. This is sooo damn refreshing after that bucks bullshit. THANK YOU KIKI!!! This is actually fun to watch!
 
This is great. I couldn't watch the game as i was busy, but i see they won, yes! Are highlights available yet?
 
I like Hayes off the bench. We need some spark in the 2nd unit.

Cosign. And there will be many nights where he's the one hitting and Hayes looks cold. But I think Jarvis is better on the move, better using screens, and would be better suited to add scoring punch off the bench than starting anyway. He can always close games if he's on fire, like he was tonight. If we get something close to this on both ends between the two of them nightly, the Nets will be FINE.

Yi looked good offensively and solid defensively, Boone got manhandled by Thomas and VC was clutch!

And Najera provides even more high quality depth. That position may wind up being a strength, not a weakness.

Even if there is an injury, the whole team won't be turned upside-down as it has been in the past.

Nice game by the rookies, showed poise and alot of promise. Hayes impressed me as well. Carter will be a different player this year in his leadership role. I think Yi is over his rookie wall slump, and he should be a nice weapon for the nets in their inside outside game. VC had like 6 assists. Think we have another triple double machine in the making

I hope they just keep this up... sorry i wasnt able to post... boss was here all night :p had to check scores via blackberry lol... and the basic html doesnt help :(
 
I'm just insanely excited that we may have a great future front court of talented 7 footers with Yi and Lopez.
 
I sadly missed the whole game, but i'm liking what I see from the boxscore.

Was anything said during the game about Williams not playing?

No reasons as to why he didn't get in. Lopez playing well probably had a lot to do with it.
