The proof is in the results...2 years...2 1st round exits....the 1st year we were a FAVORED seed...
Using an example of 2 teams, from 2 years ago, and another example where 3 of our top 5 (or 4) players were injured, as "proof" is ridiculous.
this year many claimed we had a FAVORED matchup...yet, both times we lost...
As was expected, by almost everybody, considering we were missing our two best players, our starting SF at about 30%, and our starting C on one leg.
Did injuries this year hamper this team? Absolutely they did, but even with a healthy Roy I don't this team had enough to defeat the Suns...
There you go assuming again. The same thing you were complaining about when they assumed we would beat the Suns, if healthy.
our offense is far too predictable and stagnant and far too reliant on 1 player (Roy) being the difference maker.....and what does Nate say this year? "We need more shooters" As if having more people standing on the perimeter would have made all the difference.....pathetic....
FAR FAR too many agonizing offensive possesions that resulted in a desperate shot attempt to beat the shot clock....You cannot win in the playoffs with that type of offense
Perhaps you weren't aware that we had no other offensive options due to injury. Roy was out. Oden was out. Batum was basically out. The Suns only had to guard 2 players (LMA and Miller). It shouldn't be a surprise that we struggled to get good shots.
and no other player that can consistently step up as a #2 (let alone having a consistent #3 option) option....You can't win on the back of one player....not even if your name is Lebron James...
All you're saying is that our team could be improved.
You started by saying there is NO WAY we beat the Suns, even if healthy. But, we were looking like a very good, to elite team before Greg and Joel went down. And that was without our starting SF, and benching our best PG.
