New uniform design coming this spring

I'm intrigued. I love our color schemes, but not really a fan of any of the lettering (except the rip city ones.) I could go for an upgrade.

Well they're getting Nikes next year as is. A good time as any to get a refresh. We've had this exact same look for nearly 15 years.

Who cares HOW long we've had the same look. Just look around the league, we have arguably the cleanest most solid and best designed unis/logo around. Can you imagine if our team joined that horrid mid 90s cartoon craze, where everything looked like it was designed by the Cartoon Network?

Agreed, but just a slight refresh would do wonders. All fonts need to go to what's on the RIPCITY jerseys, and the pinwheel needs to start standing alone without that crap in the background. Although straightening it out would be great, it's not a must as long as we get rid of that rectangle that surrounds it.

I want to see what the redesign looks like. And who our corporate sponsor will be.

the redesign of the red jersy was kinda hated at the time if i remember, but the new pointy stripes have grown on me a little.

i think EVERYONE agrees that the rip city font, or the old school font is the way to go though, that shit is dope.

I think I hate the tapered stripes more than the tilting of the pinwheel. I dunno. Both need to be rectified, but if we could change only one I think I'd probably choose to un-taper the fingers of the pinwheel.

A soft, subtle change would be the best way to go. There are uniforms that teams have gone with (The Pistons horsey change was hideous, the Raptors original uniforms are vomit worthy, the 76ers weird star inspired uniforms made people want to poke their eyes out with rusty needle nose pliers) that were huge mistakes.

other small changes were great. Utah had a great uniform change a while ago. The Sonics had a few neat ones too. Why change (completely) what isn't broken?

sorry, i meant the pointy stripes on the jersey, not the pinwheel. the new pinwheel blows in pretty much every way.

Agree about the pinwheel being untilted, and I've noticed a lot of stuff they've been selling/shilling has been with the logo as it originally was. I wonder if it's a pre-curser?
