This just SCREAMS D league.

They say they want to modernize the uniform.
So something like this?(can't find one for blazers)

Personally even though I'm a millennial I prefer the older designs on nearly all NBA jerseys.

I saw a black jersey shirt on one of the broadcasts with the same design language as our alternate reds. I think this may be the direction the jerseys are headed.

I can't find a picture online or anywhere to buy it though, so I don't know where this person got it.

Traditional reveal is between the end of the season and the draft. Adjusted Logos are always used on Draft Day. Also What Milwaukee did was a "Modernization" and is freaking classic in execution. Modernization in this context would be in terms of trend not Back to the Future visionary Modernization.

Friend of mine I grew up with is on the design team out at Nike and says I will like it. He knows I'm a big fan of the Old School Pinwheel. Take that for what it's worth.

Fingers crossed! That would rock!

There is some funky regulation with the NBA that former logos can't be recycled exactly once moved on from. So the un-tilted logo would need some tweaks, but nothing major.

I thought one of the biggest issues that I had heard about NBA logos is that they require the name of the team and city in the logo, which is why we have that hideous box looking thing.

*puts on Rules Lawyer beanie... with a propellor and everything* Ah but, we've had an untapered and tapered tilted pinwheel... I think we can untilt with the taper and be new, or untilt without the taper and be two generations back.

NOW I CAN'T WAIT TO RAGE OVER HOW FUCKING HORRIBLE THE NEW UNIS ARE GONNA BE
I keep forgetting that this is happening until someone bumps this thread. I'm very curious for the unveil, but have a feeling I'm going to hate the redesign. But, we're currently at the low-point of Blazers design, so at least we won't be plummeting from the heights of the Walton/Clyde era designs - the fall will merely be ankle-breaking rather than back-breaking.

Edit: Actually, given the fact that we're at a low-point, there is a good possibility for improvement. We shall see.

I don't think there's anyway these aren't going to absolutely suck.

I messed around in Microsoft Paint. If you got something like this done professionally,, with the gray city skyline below the logo and mountain, and some gray clouds above the mountain and behind the pinwheel, and put "PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS" in the top red section of the circle, and "Rip City, Oregon" in the bottom part of the circle, it would look sick I think.

@Darkwebs I feel like you're talented enough to pull this idea off and make it look legit. I'd love to see you try!

That's good, but instead of Hood let's use a picture of Raymond Felton eating a donut.
