PG: Marbury today is in playing Lopez who is no way in Nash?s league. He is a young turnover prone, and also foul prone Lopez. Marbury must take advantage of this easier matchup and get him into trouble and continue his excellent offensive game. This matchup has marbury?s name written all over it and Marbury must continue his dominance on the offense if we want to have a commanding win.
vs.
SG: I have not watched him very much in the season. I saw a sport center highlight from him once but that?s about it. He seems to be very athletic and someone who can really produce especially when left open. The Knicks need to pay an equal amount of attention to every single player. I don?t even know if Crawford is playing but if he is, he must take it to the hole and play smart basketball as usual.
vs.
SF: Ariza is playing a great player in this league. Do you guys think Ariza can develop into an all around complete player like Kirilenko is? They both have some long arms lol. Anyway Andrei Kirilenko can score in many ways and even plays defense. He can rebound and pass and he will definitely not be handled by one person. It will take all around team effort to give him problems. Ariza will definitely not have a cake walk and I think he might struggle the question is how much?
vs.
PF: Good one right here. Boozer every Cavaliers fans nemesis, will be playing us tonight. Carlos Boozer is an absolute beast on the boards. 9rpg does not lie. Kurt Thomas will have to keep his midrange jumper coming today. He has been struggling from there from late and if the Knicks want to break this crucial streak, they will have to win tonight. It will keep Boozer from doing the tremendous damage that he does in the paint.
vs.
C: Okur and Mohammed is a good one too. I like Okur?s game and I wouldn?t mid seeing him in orange and blue. He is a very effective offensive scorer so Nazr will have to keep him in check on defense. He does have a flaw on defense and it his lack of athleticism and mobility. If Nazr plays his smart and to his abilities, he will be fine. Two good centers going at it. That is when Okur comes into the game. Playing Jarron Collins I think is a cake walk. If Mohammed guards that little jumper he should be okay. I do not see Collins being able to match Nazr?s athleticism.
<font size="3"><font color="DarkOrange">Knicks Bench Summary</font></font>
Hardaway has provided good scoring from off the bench for us. We also have Brewer?s defense and JYD?s energy and hustle. I think we will be fine today the question is will Crawford be in the starting lineup today with his ankle injury in Phoenix. Hopefully he is good to go.
<font size="3"><font color="Indigo">Jazz Bench Summary:</font></font>
Great bench Utah has. Okur comes off the bench along with Matt Harpring and former Knick, Howard Eisley. They never have any type of scoring problems from the bench. They are very reliable and their bench can cause problems to any team. The Knicks effort can not rest because their bench is equivalent to their starters.

Battle of the Boards
Thomas
" target="_blank">http://www.nba.com/media/act_kurt_thomas.jpg"></a> vs.
Boozer
The key matchup by a landslide. Boozer and Kurt Thomas are very good rebounders and expect the boards to be grabbed, crashed, and cleaned up after and every type of way. Boozer will thrive in the paint while Thomas will thrive from the perimeter. This will be a good matchup and the performances down the stretch will wind up either a) hurting their team or
helping their team. Let?s hope that we have situation b while the Jazz have situation a.
<font size="4">My Prediction:</font>
The way we played against Phoenix I have been inspired. The Knicks have played with more effort and with a desire to win. I expect no less against the Jazz. Last time we had a dog fight in our house so we really should be having a serious one at theirs. I am basing my prediction solely on what I saw against the Suns. Hopefully they don?t let me down tonight. I am taking New York 99-92. I hope this game really turns around the season. Hopefully it can give us confidence for a good fight against Miami.
