I think Trump hoped that the billionaires would back him, not realizing that actual billionaires care about making money and not a name for themselves.

Alienating the vast majority of your employees isn't something that NFL owners want to get behind.
 

I think the people who are like this are cafeteria patriots. Much like a cafeteria catholic (or religious person). Pick n choose what you're offended by and believe in, and ignore the contradictory stuff.
