If they went aggressively against HGH, they wouldn't have these problems. The players are simply too fast, too strong and too explosive now for it to be a safe game. current CBs used to be safeties, current safeties used to be LBs, current LBs used to be DEs and current DEs used to be DTs or NTs. TEs in today's league used to be the size of OLs.
The HGH usage is ridiculous. At the least the major sports should do Olympic testing.
The league is totally different nowdays. I remember watching Joe Montana get destroyed by sacks that nowdays would be suspensions. Offenses have such a huge advantage, if Marino was playing today he would pass for 6000 yards. Well I guess Peyton is on pace for that.
With the lawsuits the league has faced and will continue to face we just have to accept old school football will never happen anymore, its dead. The league should look at changing some rules to help out the defense though.
