Who are the Niners taking at three?
Who will draft Sewell?

wasn't sure if this thread should be in the political side of this forum or the sports side? As you can see I think it should be here, tired of political shit.

OK, then. Will the Browns use some of their nine picks to trade up in the first round to get a good CB? Or will they wait and see who falls, like Asante Samuels who is rated #40 in consensus drafts, but PFF rates him in top 20? Will they try to trade up and grab another second round or third round pick?

They could go for a receiver but they need a solid cb too.

Fellow Browns fan?

It feels really weird looking at mock drafts and realizing we're nowhere near the top 10 of the draft. Good spot to be in as a franchise, but makes draft day a little less fun.

A lot of the mocks I have seen recently for them have them taking LB from ND. Owusu-Koromoah.

Yes I am. Draft will still be fun; they gotta make some trades; they don't have room for 9 more guys. I think they would take that ND guy, most mocks have him going earlier.

I think he's the best linebacker in this draft and would be an excellent get for Cleveland.

Dolphins drafting either Pitts, Sewell, D. smith, or Waddle at #6 and I’m happy.

Hopefully Lance or Fields over Mac Jones at 3.
Maybe Niners have been bluffing on Jones, why would they trade all the way up to 3 to get Jones when he one of the three Lance, Fields & Jones would be available after the 4th pick?
Maybe they want that tight end?

If the Chargers trade up to get Sewell Ill be very pleased.

Draft predictions- The Niners take Jones is my guess, will be interesting if that happens to see how far Fields slides. If SF takes Lance than I'd guess Fields is a top 10 pick, if they go Jones than Fields could be into the teens.

My guess on Sewell is he goes to Detroit at #7 but winds up being at best the 4th or 5th best tackle in the draft. I'd take Slater or Darrishaw over him if I had the choice.

Man I sure hope Sewell doesnt end up in Detroit.
Did the niners have to give up the picks to move up and get Jones at three?

Yes ... I think it was #12 plus3rd in 21, 1st in 22 and 23. Quite a commitment to whoever they are taking at #3!

They obviously want who they have targeted. Jones would surprise though at 3. I think its a bluff?

Not interested in Ja'Marr Chase? He seems like the consensus top wide receiver.
I am, but not like those guys. I feel like he creates less separation and just wins on physicality and the receivers Miami have, don’t get enough separation. The just I want the most is DeVonta Smith even though he’s the “lowest” rated out of this

okay I want Pitts more but smith is second

I get that. It's weird, but I get a Jerry Rice vibe off DeVonta Smith.

Not necessarily draft related, but I suppose could impact it:

I keep seeing Marvin Harrison when I watch him.

That works too. I actually used to think Harrison was the most Rice-like of the star receivers of that "next generation" (which I loosely viewed as Moss, Owens and Harrison in terms of the superstars).

I think it comes down to the smoothness into and out of cuts when running routes and how natural they look catching the ball.

his route running is crazy polished. He also knows all the coverages the defenses are in before the play starts. People think they can just jam him since he’s skinny but he is too quick for that. He burned all the top cb’s in college, and was barely touched in the championship game

jerry rice/Marvin Harrison are good comparisons but receivers are so hard to predict.
