Again, he doesn't need to put up tremendous numbers the next handful of years to reach those levels. If you want to take the position that a guy who has never missed a game is suddenly going to fall down and die and never do another thing in the NFL that's fine. It still doesn't take away the fact that he's a two time SB winning QB and a two time SB MVP. If the only thing you can think of to retort that is he got lucky then yes you're biased.
...wtf are you talking about?...I made ONE tongue in cheek comment (sorry, not my "ONLY retort") about his "luck" in a SB, and that makes me biased, but you're not?...just stop it. You've offered nothing but your opinion, but yeah, you're not biased.
...And sorry, but maintaining his numbers for the next several years is by no means a given...he's been in decline since 2011 and there's nothing to suggest things will improve for the Giants anytime soon. He does not have the receivers he once had, the offensive line is in disarray, and what about the running game?...unless the Giants address these issues Eli's numbers will be closer to what they were last year. (18 TD and 27 INTs (most in the NFL)...and those kinds of numbers will negate 2 SB appearances.
...but yeah, I'M the one who's "biased".
As for Peyton Manning I never denied he's going to go down as the greatest regular season QB of all time. He just hasn't had the post season success of some of the greats. It doesn't mean he's not going to retire with every record there is at the position. That being said if you were to ask him I'm sure he would've traded his regular season numbers last year if it meant winning the Super Bowl
...well no shit, ...I'm sure Eli would have liked to have traded his too
1. I asked you point blank; "...other than participating in 2 SBs, what makes him HOF worthy?
2. You responded with; "Two super bowls along with 50k yards and over 300 td"s
...sorry, but those ^^^ numbers are in fact "inflated" and are based on assumption. /QUOTE].
