Is 91 = to approx. 90? How about 92 = approx. 90?

If yes, than approx. Does imply 90+.

Try this: 89.5 wins, over or under?

Would this be anything like........being a little pregnant?

BTW...I've noticed that not all edited posts indicate that they have been edited......just sayin'.

Holy shit, this thread adds a whole new meaning to "The never ending story".

Holy shit, I just clarified and cleared up a couple things that should hopefully put an end to some of the bullsh!t I've been hearing from a couple of posters regarding my approx 90 win total I expect from the 2015 Yanks. And check the date from that post (post 8)January 15!
I believe that thread was started by Rick, and you can review it from post # 86 of this thread

I played with editing some old posts in non active threads. There is no notation on the lower right that I edited that post. Curious, huh?

...hmmm...interesting...wasn't aware of that.

...waiting.

From your post# 90
"are you denying that you did in fact claim the Yanx could win as many as "92 games"? (I'll gladly link the post/thread if you'd like)...Are you denying that it is the same as saying they could win "90+ games"?....yes or no will do. If yes, conversation over....if no, please explain how 92 games is not > greater than 90."

I only mentioned the possibly of the Yanks winning more than 90 games if most things broke right.
If you want to define approx 90 wins as somewhere between 89-91 be my guest...no sweat off my ass. Why don't you stop being a silly petty man.

And YOU, amoung the millions lol of baseball fans who picked them to win "approx" 82 games just may find out that there are only a few very bright lights amoung the multitudes of common mediocrity.

...lol... you, of all people, have got a lot of gall calling me "petty". I'm not "defining" anything...I'm going by your own words.

...but I'm not surprised that you refused to answer a simple "yes or no" as clearly requested...very telling.

...Sorry that you evidently cannot remember what you have actually said, but you did not originally stipulate in your original claim of a possible "92" wins was predicated on "most things going right"... you've since backtracked on your original claim and have looked very silly in doing so...your problem, not mine.

...and if you still insist on claiming otherwise, well, among other things, you're also a liar.

Wait there's a couple of more "cherry picked" stats.
Amoung reg A.L SS, Jeter was 13th in extra basehits.
Amoung qualifying A.L. RF, Ichiro was 10th in extra base hits.

Feel like doing anymore statistical gymnastics?
Or have you come up yet with anything else but BATTING AVERAGES?

Now go call your puppets, you could use some help....lol

I swear, 11 out of 1o times, I could swear your a Mutts Fan, intent on trolling real MLB Fans.'

Is is jealousy, or are you just handicapped, when it comes to knowing the 1st thing about Baseball?

I swear, If I didn't know better, your a Red Sox Homer, who obviously knows no more about the Yanx or MLB, than most Tee Ball Players.

..."Bosox trolls"?...lol...that's a term you don't hear much anymore.

Yeah the bad old ESPN days.

Yep, both you Rick, and 59, remember too well from the BSPN days. A few Bosox Homers, who spent more time on our board, stirring up shit, than they did on their own weak minded board, talking about baseball....

I won't mention names, as I feel superstitious on this one mention of those ass clowns/trolls.

The language of Bosox Trolls is always the same, and whaddya' know, I hear the sound of old nasty repetitious bullshit, with a Hells Kitchen accent.....!:smiley-woohoo::blahblah::blahblah: :argument::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

Sorry if I insulted you tossing out quite a few various offensive stats demonstrating why offense at SS for the Yanks last year was pretty darn lousy and why it may not take much to improve on some/most of those numbers which should help the overall offense of the 2015 team.....IMO.....

But feel free to provide us with a couple few more good offensive numbers I may have missed. Sorry if I happen to be picking on our great captain but he also knew when and why it was time to go.

Tho' I only take anything you say anymore, with less than a grain of salt, I basically just don't buy your bullshit, or personal attacks, and simply just Do NOT read much of anything you post anymore. Next stop "Ignore" Feature.....!!!

Now go back and lock yourself into your Closet......please....!!! (We're trying to have an intelligent convo here, in case you missed it).....!

Very sorry for providing numerous countless "cherry picked" lol, stats demonstrating how kinda awful Jeter was in dragging down one of the Yankee four biggest weaknesses of their 2014 offense along with 1b, RF and DH.

Don't take it too badly, I too loved the captain and the captain knew exactly why and when to say goodbye last year. Can we all grow up now and stop being blind homers?

Who said Jeter was great last year? You want to go back and pick apart Mantle and Ruth's final season also? I'll also mention one last time. Make your point and no more personal comments.
