Too much time in between match-ups. We should start match-up 2 this Thursday and have the first match-up voting done by Wednesday.

Schedule is perfect gives the person enough time to try to get on.
 
It works for me. I do agree that time in between matchup is too great. I think it should be a one day separation...sort of like this:

Matchup #2: July 11-14
Matchup #3 July 16-19
Matchup #4 July 21-24
 
In that time, there is a 3 day voting period as well. So, I think it's good.

These are the dates. All I was saying is, between each of the matchups there is a voting period.

So, should we have a 2-day voting period, or 3-day?
 
2 sounds good to me, cause I don't think too many people are gonna vote in it anyways, besides the people in the tourney.

I'm going to have to drop out of this debate for the later matchups. Visiting family for quite a bit, and I doubt I'll be able to set time aside to come to the computer to go back and forth.

It was fun while it lasted. I liked the debate I had with kobimel and thedude9990.

That would simply be unfair if we just gave AMS_ice a free ride to the second round.

I think it would be appropriate for Kobimel to take The One & Only's spot.

But me and Ma3oxuct basically tied in our debate, and I think it was kinda unfair to me because the poll was closed when you put your vote in, despite it being the "tie-breaker". Maybe a 3 way in the second round?

That is true. Have Kobimel and Legacy go head to head. for that spot.

Yeh, I agree somewhat. From a practical standpoint it is always better to have very active people debating. Plus this debate thing is somewhat informal in the sense that its designed to be fun, which means the rules can be bent a little.


Anyway, thats my two cents. You have the final say Kidd.

Maybe there should be a poll whether or not I should be in it with Ma3oxcut, Kobimel should be in it, or it could be a three way. That could make more sense then one person stating what they think. It could last for today, then we could start with the third match-up tomorrow as planned.

It's not easy, but the two events need to be separated. You did not know The One & Only would drop out.

Either way don't feel pressure that you have to go with what people are saying...they are just giving their opinions. You are the man; you do what you think you needs to be done

Yep its great...can't wait to see where it'll go.
 
I didn't get to counter CLos, you should have closed the thread at the start of the day or at a certain time like 12 pm Pacific or have a ceratin time to close it. Because, I was waiting for Clos to reply. I had nothing or no one to debate with.
