Forward Shavlik Randolph has been informed by Blazers officials that he will not be signed to a second 10 day contract due to the return of Rudy Fernandez and the expected return of Nicolas Batum, a league source told Blazersedge today.

How much do players make for a 10-day contract at a minimum? I'm guessing it isn't a bad paycheck..

Wow, thats a nice chunk of change. I wouldn't mind having that myself right now!

He could probably make a nice living playing overseas. I think he'd do quite well over there.

I mean, Saer Sene is putting up 13 PPG / 13 RPG / 3 BPG this year.

I think they make more then that also since they get a per diem everyday they are traveling.

He should go over to Europe and stop being jerked around here in the states. He could be making a solid living while travelling around checking Europe out, without the being jerked around part.

haha...look what story I found to answer your question

That article is incorrect (what do you expect, considering the source). I have no idea where they came up with the $300,000 minimum salary, but it's not even close.

Last season, the rookie minimum salary was $442,114. Miles was in his 9th season. So, his minimum salary would have been $1,147,523. Which means he earned $67,500 for each of his two 10-day contracts. That's a lot more than the $17,700 listed erroneously in the article.

What's up with lazy ass writers who can't spend 30 seconds on google to get their facts straight? Is Canzano moonlighting for LosAngelesHoopz?

Shav is in his 5th NBA season. So, the vets minimum for him would be $959,111. Which comes out to $56,418 per 10-day contract.
