No way we're keeping this pick

I really find it hard to believe that Iguodala would opt out of a contract that will pay him 15.9 MILLION DOLLARS next year. If he did, it would only be because he knew for certain that he would get a nice long contract that extends far past his useful NBA life and paid him around $10M per year.

Still want him? He's an upgrade over Matthews (although probably not in 3 point shooting) but is he THAT much of an upgrade?

I think he will opt out and I also think he's a significant upgrade overall compared to Matthews. That pure athleticism is huge in today's NBA.

How does this help us? Sorry I think igs is not the answer. He didn't lead Denver to a first round win. Obviously we need someone that is consistent and leads his club. That man ain't igs

We're not going to get someone better than Lillard and Aldridge. They are our franchise. We're going to get someone talented who complements them and Batum defensively. Iggy is one that makes sense, but I would agree with you there may be bigger fish.

We are keeping Aldridge and Lillard. We need defense and we need a defensive center.

I want Lopez, but I actually think olshey will be reaching for the moon. Hopefully he is on apollo

Lopez for the first rounder. They receive a 18 mil TE

Nets aren't going to be sellers. They don't cut costs under this regime. Plus now you're talking about a borderline all-star C whose biggest weaknesses are defense and rebounding. A good fit?

True.... Dalembert?

What's his contract situation? Whatever it is, he should be cheap. I would put him on my earlier list along with O'Neal and Collins as cheap defensive vet centers to pair with Leonard. I think our "biggest" acquisition will be more of a perimeter player.

Lillard is our leader. Lills and Aldridge are better than any of his teammates on Denver. Lopez didn't get out of the first round either. He got bitchslapped by the guy we should go after: Noah.

Hmmmm. Well dalembert is unrestricted, so I think he's a 4-5 mil player.

Perimeter? I think we need a player that can get to the line. Actually Kevin Martin would be a nice addition.

I would say our offseason is a home run if we land Noah. I just don't see Chicago buying unless we give them Aldridge

No way Noah is going ANYWHERE. Noah, Rose, and Thibs are going to get a title some day.

Pretty sure he already did or plans to

That's just stupid, then. He's at best a #3 on team, and at age 30, he's not worth much more than a 2-year deal at $5m/per. If somebody overpays for him, that's on them.

Olshey wants to trade it BADLY.

Our franchise player is getting toward the end of his contract. We were fortunate in last year's draft to come away with one homerun and one project in the lottery. We need to take a big step forward and we need to win now.

I think he is going to try to package Matthews and the #10 pick with another prospect or two (Barton, Freeland, Claver, if anyone's interested) for someone who can come in and be #2 to Lillard's and Aldridge's 1a and 1b.

I think we'll go the bargain basement route for a defensive center to platoon with Leonard. Jermaine or Collins come to mind.

Our franchise player is a 22 year old rookie PG, in the first year of his contract
