Nobel Peace Prize Winner Barack H. Obama (aka Barry Soetoro) bombs Doctors without Borders

My definition of "irony"........GW Bush is responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of civilians in Iraq. When he says "Mission accomplished", half of America cheers. When the U.S. bombs what may very well have been a Taliban front, the same half of America condemns Obama. How fucked up is that?

You aren't dumb enough to think Obama just goes around pushing the button that fires the missiles are you?

This question is for anybody...
Our "commander and chief" is absolutely responsible for actions of military. He authorizes our military to do what they do.

It's Commander in Chief, not Commander and Chief.

And yes, he's ultimately responsible for everything the military does. So to the extent he bombed the hospital, he killed Bin Laden. Etc.

Exactly! Just like he also armed ISIS

You are saying the US Military armed ISIS? Do tell. (I always knew that BrianFromWA guy was up to no good.)

When Obama surrendered, he left a lot of military equipment behind that ended up in ISIS' hands.

Right, there's a unbiased assessment of the situation.

From your link:

"How did we come to be wasting that much money?" asked Heather Hurlburt, executive director of the progressive National Security Network. The answer, she said, is that dissenting voices weren't heeded when Bush administration officials were pushing their hugely overambitious agenda.

But yeah, the Iraq war is all Obama's fault.

Sure, just like every president ever has armed the enemy.

Strawman.

You agree Obama armed ISIS. I'd call his handling of Iraq beyond incompetent.

Dang!!! 540 mil worth of military equipment????

Last year, the US State Department approved a possible sale to Iraq of 1,000 Humvees with increased armour, machine-guns, grenade launchers, other gear and support, which was estimated to cost $579 million.

Clashes began in Mosul, Iraq’s second city, late on June 9, 2014, and Iraqi forces lost it the following day to Isis, which spearheaded an offensive that overran much of the country’s Sunni Arab heartland.

The militants gained ample arms, ammunition and other equipment when multiple Iraqi divisions fell apart in the country’s north, abandoning gear and shedding uniforms in their haste to flee. Isis has used captured Humvees, which were provided to Iraq by the United States, in subsequent fighting, rigging some with explosives for suicide bombings.

Funny thing is that both of you guys idolize Reagan, who covertly, illegally, and quite intentionally armed Iran. Not because some parachute got blown off course.

My idol isn't trying to pass himself off as a president that is against defending ourselves with war.

So you are justifying this because others did it?

No, I'm justifying it by saying that shit happens during wartime. If your standard is that weapons cannot under any circumstances be captured by the enemy, then your standard is pretty damned unrealistic.

If it means no more American soldiers in that shit hole of a country they can have 2,000 Humvees a year. I don't care if it's Isis, Russia, or Muhammed himself running Iraq. Keep US soldiers the fuck out of there.

So Obama created ISIS. I think the Russian said this also.
Did Obama do this from shear ineptitude? Or is there another answer?

So why are we still there? Why is Obama protesting Russia attacking anyone there? Why did Obama bomb a hospital?

Don't be naive

Bush the second dumped the Iraq shitpile in Obama's lap. Bush left no easy way out. It doesn't matter who the president who succeeded Dumbya was, or what party he/she belonged to. It was a no win situation however it was handled. And if you disagree, please expound on how it should have been handled.

There are some that believe he is protecting ISIS. I don't believe it until I see proof.

Not only did Obama arm ISIS, he armed al Maliki while he enacted retribution against the Sunnis that then supported ISIS. In fact, Obama's support of al Maliki the whole time was effectively support for the retribution.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2014-06-19/maliki-proves-losing-bet-for-u-s-as-iraq-s-unifier

Maliki’s actions, particularly since U.S. ground troops left, have alarmed U.S. officials, even as they continued to offer many supportive remarks publicly.

Amid the departure of U.S. troops in December 2011, Maliki met with Obama at the White House, where the American president praised the Iraqi’s “leadership” at that “historic moment.”

...

Last November, when Maliki visited the White House, Obama publicly praised him for showing a “commitment” to ensuring an “inclusive and democratic” Iraq.
