Someone should tell James to not put too much weight on Oden's shoulder.

You scared the living HELL out of me HCP, I thought Damian had broken his kneecap or somesuch! Don't do it again!

I'd almost rather see him in Piss and Purple.

Almost.

Oh how the mighty has fallen..... From playing checkers with the HCP.... To hangin with the MVP!

Fuck, he looks like he's in pretty damn good shape. Maybe after all he's been through, he finally realized how to eat right and take care of himself. I have nothing against Greg. The guy has been through hell and back, but I'm not a big fan of the Heat. So, I have mixed feelings. I wish him well, especially with his health, but it's not exactly like the superfriends need a 4th superhero to help them win more titles.

I do find it ironic that Greg isn't wearing any knee support, but LeBron is. Maybe Oden should follow LeBron's lead and wear something to help support his fragile knees to help prevent future injuries.

You look like bigfoot took a big round dump on top of an overfilled beanbag

He dissed my hometown and my team. I wish him nothing but the worst. If this comeback succeeds, it just proves that he sandbagged the Blazers.

How could anyone watch him play without a feeling of impending doom? I mean, everyone watching is just going to be thinking "how long before his knee explodes" - right?

im kinda excited for him, wish it was a different team though, would have loved to watch him on the pelicans

Lebron wasn't so happy in a previous meeting:

Kind of weird to see the two most hyped guys in high school since the start of the millennium on the same team. I hope he busts out and finally becomes everything we hoped for in Portland. A healthy Oden combined with LeBron and Wade is just an amazing amount of strength and speed for one team.

It will take a couple full seasons, though, before I stop wondering about Oden's knees.

If he sandbagged the Blazers, he would have signed a contract a long time ago. His knees are still bad and the reason all he could get was a two year minimum contract.

I agree with the 1st part (wishing him the worst) and disagree with the 2nd part (sandbagging)

Same reason people watch NASCAR. They won't admit it, but they are watching to see the fiery crashes. Let's face it, you can only take watching guys turn left, turn left, turn left for so long before you lose interest. I just hope Oden doesn't suffer a Joe Theismann like career ending moment on national TV. That scene still haunts me.

If you care who wins, NASCAR is a blast to watch. Even better when you're rooting against a driver or two, lol...

As much as I hate to see Oden succeed elsewhere, the silver lining would be a quality medical staff getting him healthy so he can produce consistently and win titles, which indirectly validates our picking him #1. Bowie never let us off the hook.

If Oden could stay healthy (big IF) The heat could get rid of Bosh and maybe win not 5.. not 6...

That would fucking suck man...
