Kind of weird to see the two most hyped guys in high school since the start of the millennium on the same team. I hope he busts out and finally becomes everything we hoped for in Portland. A healthy Oden combined with LeBron and Wade is just an amazing amount of strength and speed for one team.

It will take a couple full seasons, though, before I stop wondering about Oden's knees.

I don't, but then again, I wonder if the guy will even play 20 games this year.

Let's face it, you can only take watching guys turn left, turn left, turn left for so long before you lose interest. I hope it works out for him. I have grave doubts that he'll ever be able to stay healthy, but I can root for anybody who perseveres and overcomes adversity ... especially if part of that adversity is immaturity.

If they had had Rose instead of Beasley, they would have kept him and signed Lebron, making do without Bosh. I have a feeling that would have worked out pretty well.
