I usually go with Patagonia. Love the nano puff jacket.

North Face recently retro'd their old Goretex parkas, may have to cop one of dem tho

North Face is actually a place where right wingers prosper. Go to a bar in PB and you will see what I mean.
Whenever I see extreme progressives wear NF I get a kick out of it.

Have you seen the new Brand called Jackson Hole!

Looks like a hwy between Regina and Saskatoon!

Is that on the Yellow Knife?
I had a place on that highway, in Northern BC. Lived there for near a year, until a I heard of a cold front coming down from the Yukon. They could not tell what the bottom was, as the thermometer only would go down to -80.
Fuck! it was already -52 at my place and I had the stove door open full time, chucking chunks of wood in that sucker!

That news did it, fired up the truck to get the hell out a there. Thank god for the electric heater to warm the engine on the truck. Bye by BC.

Pacific Beach?

I actually respect Columbia for threatening to move corp out of Portland unless the City addressed the crap (literally) in front of their building.
Columbia was once owned by the parents of a guy who was in my platoon back in New Jersey during 1967-1968. Funny story, we were hitchhiking together from our base to Newark, N.J. and started talking. It turns out that we went to grade school together for two years but never knew each other. At that time the guy was from N.Y. City and had the accent to with it. He looked a bit like John Travolta.
The company his parents owned was White Stag which got bought and evolved into Columbia Sportswear.
Just a liddle' bit of useless trivia.

I lived close to the White Stag plant in SE Portland.
Great product and still have one of their tough durable canvas tents.
