He's actually a great guy! He took me to Kobe's final game at the Rose Garden. Tickets included $30 of free arena food. Mmmmmm... Had some Pork Ramen, Pizza slice, Salt & Straw ice cream, and Pendelton Whiskey. Yummm. And I got to see the Blazers win and some Kobe fanboys cry.

Sounds like a lovely time. Still excitable. It's always amazed me that people are automatically considered trolls and liars if they know someone who works in the NBA. I've always found that amazing. I have no idea how the current regime runs things, but you may now have access to people who say things. Some you can share, some you know not to. Doesn't make you an evil liar

So if that's true, and he did actually demand a trade, why the hell didn't they do it?

I always knew he was going to leave. I figured to somewhere in Texas. We never really go confirmation that he officially wanted out.
