My 11 year old niece wanted to bring her best friend to Thanksgiving. I told her that was fine. The friend, also 11, and lifelong resident of East Bay, looked at my shelf of Blazers bobbleheads and was able to identify all (except Magliore). She clearly knew about all the players.

And I don't have a Roy or Oden, the two a casual fan would be most likely to know.

She just said she likes basketball a lot.

BTW, I am still willing to trade cookies or brownies for a Roy or Oden bobblehead. I traded a box of cookies to mgb for Aldridge (bobblehead, that is).

LaMarcus Aldridge bobblehead, one box oatmeal raisin cookies
Brandon Roy bobblehead, one box _______
Greg Oden bobblehead, one box _______
11 year old California girl knowing all the Blazers, priceless.

you could get a oden bobblehead for used chewing gum

That is pretty awesome. Especially as the bobbleheads don't look much at all like the players. She must know them by the numbers.

(I don't have any bobbleheads. I've got one figurine that was a present and (a) it's Kenny Anderson, one of my least favorite Blazers, and (b) it's shooting right-handed.)

A case of Blond Brownies for a Raef LeFrentz on!

I was handed a free Costco cook book as I was leaving the store the other day. In it, there is a recipe called, I shit you not, "Magic Brownies." Yumm!!
