...not while he's alive...

The ban from baseball has been enough in my opinion. The all time leader in hits belongs in the HOF.

...oh, I agree, he belongs in the HOF...but IMO, not while he's alive. THAT should be his ultimate penalty.

...you may forgive him, God may forgive him...I won't.

Wait...you won't forgive Pete Rose? Why?

...for the same reason many people won't

...and he also agreed to a lifetime ban.

I think he should be in while he's still alive BUT I can understand it the other way.
And I think Rose feels like he will eventually be in the HOF someday.
He can live with that.
I've heard him say more than once - "the fans know what kind of ballplayer I was"

... and 95 years is even longer.

... someone please explain to me why this guy is still not in with career numbers like this;

.356 .423 .517 .940

...and he was never proven guilty, much less ever received any money.

Its criminal what they did to Shoeless Joe Jackson. No way would that happen today.

I'll go as far and say, without Jackson and Rose, its really not a HOF.
